Question for Magikca DK's and 5 Heavy

I'm about to make a 5 piece heavy set, Tava's Favor, wondering is people are still going all inpen, or are people adding in sturdy now with the % to block cost. I'm still not CP capped, I'm around 488 in total.

Depends on what else is in your build. I dropped 2x impen for 2x sturdy, especially with tavas because shuffle stresses my stam pool even with the unchained passive. @DKsUnite likes transmutation in this patch, so if you run that then sure, you can definitely afford to drop some impen pieces.

im testing 6 sturdy, no trans, so my crit res is 750 atm and tbh i dont notice a difference lol. Maybe i just hold block too much when i have max crit res idk xD

Don't you get crit to oblivion following a fear or any other CC? Like I know my tanky support stam DK runs with around 30k resists, and 2.5k impen but the second block is dropped I eat some serious numbers.

Don't you get crit to oblivion following a fear or any other CC? Like I know my tanky support stam DK runs with around 30k resists, and 2.5k impen but the second block is dropped I eat some serious numbers.

yeh hence why you gotta be quick/live in mistform until bats is ready :P

Ah I see haha. Yeh now vamps are a lot more viable due to FG bonus damage to deadra and undead eating a solid nerf.

Elf Bane Set Heavy armor.

I have a set of these I run on my DK and swap to my Sorc/templar depending on what i feel like playing. Only use 4 on my sorc/templar plus one extra heavy from monster set. All pieces impen.

5 piece heavy and all impen Definitely helps with survivability between shield drops etc.

If I switch to all light I die much much more now then with 5 heavy with the shield time changes, which is as intended.

LEVEL 50 CHAMPION 160

(2 items) Adds 967 Max Magicka

(3 items) Adds 129 Spell Damage

(4 items) Adds 129 Spell Damage

(5 items) Increases duration of your damaging fire effect by 2 seconds.

Nice vids, I like that build, may give it a try later, what gear set up are you using if you don't mind me asking?

Also, I'm on ps4 like yourself, I noticed you swap bars a lot faster then I do, like smothly like you would on PC, is it just my eyes playing tricks on me or is there a diff way you have yours set up? I changed mine to template c so I hold triangle to swap bars.

5 Kags(All impen)/3 will power/2 (impen shoulder + infused head)bloodspawn/Transmutation swords.

My bar swap is on r3. So my right thumb stick. It's much easier to switch bars and you can keep your target locked in your cross hair while moving around.

I only really use talons when I play in larger groups. Solo I need the extra umph from mage light to kill people quickly. Flames of Oblivion works as well.
