Ambush has high. Ambush is high cost to use especially with poisons now. Killers blade hits less hard than executioner and scales at a lower health. Incap strike is out done by flawless. Cloak is broken. Suprised attack is solid but not op. Power extraction is outdone by tornado. Not to mention the disco of a stam blade in pve is average at best.

If you are talking about mag blade well they have plenty type of utility, but still not op in damage.

Don't put words in my mouth. I am just providing a small illustration of why nb is fine as is. Except cloak needing another fix. I if you want to have a discussion on your position fine. Don't come at me with your nonsense statements

Actually at this point I'm using class skills for buffs/debuffs and ambush.

1- Rapid strikes outpaces SA and it is buffed by thaum and mighty. And one of the morphs have a heal; for an Argonian stamblade in HA that's like xmass
2- Trap beast has a very nice DoT. Better than any magicka based DoT for stamblades and rearming trap is autocasted, saving some stam.
3- Camo Hunter has a free minor berserk buff. You just need to be crouched to make it work. Combine that with snipe and crit rush (suddenly, NM embrace has become a more than nice option).
4. Silver shards hit 6 guys at 28 mts.
5. As mentioned above, Incap is outdone by FDB and DoS. And FoD gives you moar wpn dmg if sloted (and combined with another FG skills is even better)

Don't worry, NBs will keep on being lethal, we just need to work on our builds.

nb is not top dps in game that would be stam dk. additionally, since you are referring to buffs this patch i assume you are aiming your comment at stam blades. Stam blades have some of the worst dps in game. Great burst. but sustained damage lacks. Stam sorcs are really the only build stam nb outpaces for dps.

As pointed out in many other threads there is many differences between incap strike and other ults. Just to go through a few:
-overload is spammable ult with range and a third bar. hits hard.
-neagate is aoe with no cap. prevents ability use. heals or damages.
-leap is relatively cheap. gives resources. ranged. aoe. aoe cc. can get into keeps and other areas that may be difficult for others. hits hard.
-temp heals is low cost high aoe heals. reduces damage by 20% to you and allies. range/melee.
-dawnbreaker is low cost. gives weapon damage. aoe. dot. high damage. cc. melee.
-incap strike is low cost. hits ONE person. is melee. debuffs ONE person. stuns ONE person. buffs you against ONE person. slight increase in crit chance.

the biggest difference to note is that other effect more than one person or is spammable. Practically speaking the stun is useless because many people cc before using their ult to make sure it lands. Lets not forget that a practical pvp experience is going to be a fight with more than one person making a single target ult less useful.

Last, what other buffs are you referring to that "wont last"?
-would that be the skills that were useless because they scaled on mag?
-are you referring to killer's blade which is outdone by executioner and hits as hard as reverse slice but lacks the aoe?
-are you referring to power extraction which is out shined by steel tornado?
-are you referring to the broken cloak ability?
-perhaps you are referring to grim focus which hits just as hard as the mag version and was not an option previously because it was mag damage?
-maybe you are talking about the nerf to strife? twice.


Nb is fine as is. the class is good at stealth and burst. as it should be since that is not only the point of the class, but also the staple of the class. It does well it pvp but is lacking in pve dps for stam and is at where it should be for mag pve dps.
