Players wouldn't die

Had an issue the other night on xbox1 where I couldn't kill anyone in this group I encountered, made a video, watch their health as it completely disappears repeatedly but they do not die.

Thought this was going to be dumb... But that is strange it could be they had very little health left and healed same time you hit again but really idk and for it to happen to the 2nd person right after was weird

Phoenix set is the only way for this to happen on console.

LOL not to me, no, but I have seen a lot of videos of people "cheating" with this gear and when I reach out to the people that were said to be "cheating" each and every one of them was wearing that set.

It bugs out a lot and I don't even think people know it bugs, it just seems like a health desync and you are playing really good for that moment, its not like you are superman that doesn't take damage, it just looks like you hover around 1-3 HP and then phoenix kicks in.

Not sure if there has been any discussion on it or not really,

Phoenix has a cool down and in the video the health seemed to hit zero multiple times within the cool down

I've seen the phoenix set before but your video is the first time I've seen it quite like that, normally they players freeze in place before they keep moving and these guys never seemed to freeze.

You guys, no one cheats at online gaming. Dont worry. This is a L2P issue. Its not like you can datamine info and rewrite script for a console because its impossible. Laff

Heh, if they somehow were found to be cheating not that they are but if they did I'm sure I would be the one to get in trouble for naming and shaming by posting the video....

I would venture to say while quite trivial in practice this would be near impossible on console.

Sure ZOS may not check for modified memory and out of spec network activity, but Xbox and Sony sure as *** do. You would have to have a modded box to do that and you are instabanned when you even try to access the network with a modded box.

Sure maybe for a day it would work, but then you brick your console and ban your i.p.

Lua injection, which would be the only way this could work, will be detected by the server sanity checks from Xbox live and ps4, no one is giving users sdks lol

The security systems business constantly runs both counter and as a product of counter security systems. It is important for both sides that you have a feeling of security while at the same time being concerned about your security. Gaming systems have been forever hacked and all that has happened is someone has adapted their protocols to detect and eliminate. Just like Murder and Theft some will forever get away with it, but most will either be caught and prosecuted or caught and banned.

I am not willing to say that these individuals were cheating as the game is extremely buggy and the likely hood of cheating is fairly low. However to rule out the possibility, in light of the technological advances of today and the schemes that are pulled off each year would be naive.

gads I wish that Phoenix set worked like that for me.

usually what happens is I die, on my screen I burst into flames - can't move, can't do anything - and then usually whatever has been going on (DoT, attacks, caltrops) is still going on and when I "come back to life" with bits o health - I'm immediately dead again.

It's not the Pheonix set it's the player with the black robe on that seems to be doing nothing just running around with her arms beside her. Templars bug out like this on xbox sometimes, you couldn't see the animations but she was actually spamming Breath of Life. Worth noting that it only bugs out on your end and that player would have been seeing their animations like normal

There is an AD Templar on Trueflame (crap now I can't recall if it was Haderus or TF) who was running around a rock with ZERO health while a half dozen DC were beating on him. I mean, the dude was an absolute Klutz, tripping over rocks and running into shrubs....but absolutely a suspicious move and I sent a video into ZOS.

No there were NO hints given there about said player!
