Help with my Stamina Templar build for Pvp

Ok,
So I have a V16 Stamblade, V16 Sorc, and just levelled up a V16 Stamplar.

My Stamplar was built unashamedly for Maelstrom, as with my lag here, and a serious L2P disadvantage (I've got well over 3,000 hours in the game so far and I still suck and also have latency of 325+ lol) my Sorc & I are struggling with VMA.
My shield buff and bar swap takes about 4 seconds, and with the new 6 second shield life I'll struggle even worse.
So I built and levelled and now need to take Stamplar girl into Pvp to at least access Caltrops, and hopefully rekindle my love of Pvp.
She is DC, both my previous toons are EP, so I don't readily have any grouping options either.
In truth I loved Pvp as either a stamina-ganker or a Sorc in keep battles, but I haven't been in Pvp since before Christmas due to my lag frustrations.
I'm no duelist...I wasn't joking that I am constantly recognising my L2P issues...but I adore this game.

My question is simply this:
I don't know anyone who plays a stamina templar in Pvp and as I've now maxed/morphed all except Pvp & Undaunted skill lines on her, I'm looking for a game plan of bar skills/weaponry/armour as a starting point for a Pvp character.
She is currently high crit, 5 x Night Mothers 2 (or 3) x Hundings and 1 x Kena medium, 2H (either maul or sword) & bow, but I am utterly flexible for change with her crafter big brother.
Make no mistake, in end game, Night Mothers seriously out performs Hundings as a 5 piece (in solo Pve at least).

So input from anyone who plays a Pvp Stamplar would be greatly appreciated.

If you are AD, maybe Mojican can show you a thing or two. If I know the name of a banana, they're kickass. He's godlike with his small group, and lethal solo.

If you don't have access to Maelstrom weapons, then that actually simplifies everything. Run 5 pieces of Hundings Rage on the body, I'd recommend heavy armor chest and light gloves or belt, but if you haven't fully unlocked undaunted mettle then I would make that a priority. Then I run a nightmother's helmet or shoulder (depending on what monster sets I have access to, i.e. whichever one is medium or best trait) then nightmothers weapons.

You already said you have a medium Kena Shoulder so I'd go with a medium Nightmother helmet.

Make as much of the gear as possible be impenetrable trait, I run all impen except for my medium divine Kena shoulder. Then run Robust agility Jewelry (I know it is expensive but that is because its the best). Depending on the race of the character you may be flexible in terms of Robust vs Healthy (You can likely get away with Healthy on a Redguard, but try for as many robust as possible).

You want max stamina glyphs on your armor and weapon damage on your jewelry, but this is also flexible depending on your play style. With this setup you'll have low recovery, so I am sure to run repentance and werewolf and I do fine. If you play in large groups where you don't have to be the main damage person, you can run more regen. I also run the warrior mundus for weapon damage, but again you can switch to the regen one if you want. Depending on the race of your character you can get like 4300 weapon damage with 39k stamina (this is my imperial templar).

I recommend for you weapons to run 2 H and Dual Wield, both Nightmothers. After you pop rally on your 2H bar, flip over to your DW bar and your weapon damage will be like 4300! I run Steel Tornado, Shuffle, Jabs, Vigor, and Purifying Ritual with Flawless Dawnbreaker. Backbar is 2H with Rally, Wrecking Blow, Crit Rush, Repentance, and executioner with Werewolf for the ultimate. I often will put the spear in place of executioner, hit them with that, crit rush while they are in the air, and switch to DW to hit them with jabs and they will be dead. Bow is also a solid choice, but your damage won't be as high, though that mobility bonus is nice.

If you get VMA weapons, then I'd run your Kena shoulder with a Bloodspawn helmet, but until then you're better off running the Nightmothers.

Feel free to ask any questions, I'll keep an eye on the thread if you'd like to discuss more.

Currently, I run 5 hunding's, 3 marksman and 3 agility. Weapon damage on jewellery, stam Glyphs on armor. All medium, all impen.

    21k health
    30k stam
2.1 regen (2.6) on back bar
    4k weapon damage

I use two handed and bow.

    Biting jabs
    Executioner
    Rally
    Wrecking blow
    Crit rush
    Flawless dawnbreaker

    Shuffle
    Piercing javelin
    Vigor
    Repentence
    Puryfying Ritual
    Wearwolf

I like wrecking blow as a cc as well a javelin. I may drop it, stick repentance there and put poison injection on my back bar maybe.

I use bow for speed. Pvp is pretty horrible without it for me

    I haven't died in RL.
Read both remarks thanks and have been experimenting with armour/mundus/weapon options.
I'm so used to running high crit on all my characters that playing with impenetrable and low crit without AOE's from my bow bar is taking some learning.
My Stamplar is DC, and my Sorc & Stamblade both EP, hence I don't have groups or zergs to run with as yet...so I'm dying and horse riding a lot while I learn, and that makes me still no where near having vigor or caltrops...two of my Stamblades stables.
And as much as I like javelin, it doesn't adequately replace Snipe, Poison Injection, & Arrow Barrage for soloing resources, so much more practice and learning is required.

So thank you both...plenty of thought provoking in your two posts.
Today I'll build gold swords as I've never tried DW in Pvp except on my Sorc's overload bar, and an inpen set of armour (Oh the cost of leather and wax) as all the high ranking Pvp guys seem to run inpen now, where prior to Christmas I could easily high crit the majority of them from either of my red boys, blue girl is getting nowhere fast with that.
