So what's gone wrong with group finder since the DB release?

Still getting the "you don't have the DLC" problem (I don't have IC maybe unless you buy all the DLC group finder is closed)

Make sure your dungeon finder is set to work on character levels only. 10-50
Hard mode dungeons should be level 50.
Don't do anything else please but it seems ur trying to do something with CP and I predict that problem starts there and is related to the fix you made over a year ago when you raised VR to 14-16 and the first scaled dungeon by group leader.

Kozai✭✭✭This morning, I was in a group of 3, tank, healer and dps, set for random normal dungeon, and got teamed with 2 others in a "large group", one dps and one dual heal/dps listing. The other 2 had already been teamed (they knew each other). Our original dps was willing to bow out so the rest of us could enter the dungeon, but I felt badly at having invited him in the first place only for him to have to leave.
Zos, if your Group Finder is going to put us in a group of 5 for a dungeon, it should let us run it as a group of 5, as compensation for the bug.3 -

I was on a team running into this, by the way, the solution was to make the person without the DLC the group leader, then it automatically (at least on that one try, can't guarantee it doesn't bug out other times) avoids the DLC dungeons with no error message.

Fruitmass✭✭✭✭Gave it a go today and was able to get two groups so far, both in under 10 minutes of waiting. Which is definitely an improvement from what I was experiencing over the past few days. So it looks like the issue is fixed for me. Fingers crossed that it stays that way.
Well it's Friday, roughly four days since the hotfix and it looks like I spoke too soon. I have gotten a smattering of groups over the past few days but it's still very much hit or miss. xbelleSoul ShrivenIt's weird, on my DPS characters which is lvl 50 (415CP) I can find a group, average time of 40 minutes waiting, but always group of 5 people and we need to kick one. On my healer lvl 40 I'm on queue for more than 2 hours and nothing.
It's been over a week like this and I'm starting to get frustrated.

✭✭✭Well it's definitely hit and miss. I found two groups back to back as a DPS really quickly while in Elden Root and now I've had nothing for 5 hours + of queue time while out questing.
Maybe the location where you are makes a difference? It shouldn't but grasping at straws here.0 -

saf227_ESO✭✭✭✭Before the DB patch, this seemed to be working pretty well. Usually had a group within 20 minutes. Even after this hotfix, we're (I group with my wife - we're 2 DPS and do the search with us already grouped) still waiting 1hr+ without any group coming up.

✭✭✭Well I hope the team responsible for this part of the game is at least embarrassed about it.
The group finder in ESO is notorious for being glitchy and lacking in functionality. So much so that we gave up on using it for the better part of year and spammed chat instead. They acknowledged the problem and went through several iterations of improvements until they finally got it working very well for a few months just prior to the 2.4x patch. It was reliable and quick for a while there.
It's sad to see it in this bad shape again after all the work they put in.0 -
Rawst✭✭✭We've seen this bug several times now: premade group wants to do random normal/vet dungeon, gets rejected by the group finder because "someone in your group doesn't have the necessary dlcs unlocked".
It can be done if you pass the lead to the person who doesn't have the dlcs and have them queue for the dungeon. Don't know what happens if there is more than one person without them, though. The group finder should automatically know who has what and should put us in a dungeon accordingly.
Also, after DB and after the hotfix I am still waiting literally hours for literally nothing, because I just log off at that point. And not on a DD but on a healer.Beasts in amber! Wake and remember!0 -
Can we please get an update on this? The hotfix did not work. Healers and tanks typically wait for a maximum of two minutes or so - heck, let's be generous and say five - in the finder. Since the DB patch, our wait times exceed two to three hours.
What's wrong, and when will it be fixed?1 -

Xylphan✭✭✭✭Haven't run a random dungeon (or any dungeon) via group finder since the DB patch. Hours of waiting, requeueing, it just sits there. My impression is that the hotfix might have actually made things worse. :P
Apparently it's not something considered critical. Maybe it's not something a lot of people use. Maybe there going to simply remove it since it's always had issues and these latest ones are the straw that broke the camel's back. I use it a lot since I primarily solo and actually have fun running pugs, but I'm probably in the minority.
Serves me right for subbing without checking to make sure everything I like was still working post patch. :P

Was in the LFG tool last night and spent 3+ hours and once we got in the White-Gold tower dungeon, one bailed after the first boss.
After a few more wipes to trash the group broke up.
Total waste of 3 hour wait time; I know people suggest to go to major cities and spam LFG, But id like to group with others close to my Level and gear.
I feel its odd for a Lvl 24 to group up with someone who has a Lvl 50 with 300+ Champ points, I know ill be carried since my gear and skills do not even come close to theirs.
Just saying.

S'yn✭✭✭Whatever hot fix was deployed, I haven't noticed any improvement. I have sat in que for over 3 hours as healer/DPS with no signs of a group forming. LFG is completely broken.
Also, the bounty boards in the cities of Gold Coast stopped working as well. Some of us are trying to obtain that equipment and patterns and have NO WAY to obtain them without being able to perform these bounties. If you are planning a hotfix, please look into this as well.1 -
