So what's gone wrong with group finder since the DB release?

Just started leveling a new alt which is something I do fairly regularly.

Before the DB release, group finder for the 9 first dungeons has been working pretty well for the past few months.

Now I'm leveling a healer and queuing as healer + DPS and I'm not getting a group in more than one hour in the queue... during NA prime time.

I do believe they broke something.

Same problem, yesterday after waiting more than an hour searching for a RANDOM dungeon got no result.

I do beleive the same, before patch, looking for a random as healer never took me more than 5 min, now it just don't work.

At first thought it was everyone just focusing on DB stuff, but then I heard a lot of people mentioning it in the way crowded starter zones.

I think this is something that might actually need looking into.

Yeah I don't think population doing DB stuff is the problem although I'm sure it has diverted a lot of players there.

Auridon and Grahtwood, if anything, seem more crowded this week than last.

I would agree, there may be an issue. I was queued for an 1 hour 30 minutes without a group! I'm a TANK!!!!!

1 hr 45 mins queuing as a tank. I had to pack it in.

Should have undaunted leveled by 2026 at this rate.

It's the CP use. They should've just removed VR and went to levels without CP

I think that's one issue and the other has to be something on the server and programming side. But I suggest it's CP because every time the VR levels were changed or when we had scaling adjustments, this happened

Queued as a healer 4 times for over 30 minutes each (one was 55 minutes) for random with no luck.

Queued with my RL buddy who is a tank, we were queued for just under an hour and gave up. Another time 30 minutes.

If a tank and a healer queued together can't get a group in under an hour, meanwhile pre-patch the max was 10 minutes, there is something horribly wrong.

I have literally spent almost 4 hours queued in the last 2 days and had 0 dungeons. And about 90 mins of that was with my tank buddy grouped with me.

Same thing here. As I tank I haven't been able to run random dailies. I queue up as a tank, an hour goes by. I requeue. Another hour goes by.

I thought the same as others did. New DLC, low dungeon population. But now it seems like an endemic problem. My guess is they broke something with all the group finder updates. It'll probably be fixed soon(ish). I hope. :P

I'm sure something is wrong, it's not normal when you try to find group in RANDOM and after an hour nothing, when before patch never goes over 5 min.

It's clearly broken. I have managed to get one group since DB release, in a total of around 10 hours of queue time as a tank.

The Dungeon Finder is a big part of how I play - it is the reason I came back to the game. If fixing it is at the bottom of a big pile of DB bugs, then I guess I'll just have to unsub until they fix it.

It's really broken, this screen appear with a full group (correct roles, 1 tank, 1 healer, 2 dps), and after click on queue:

A group of RL friends and i were doing a group Tuesday and got the same thing, just put the non-ESO+ member as leader and have him que you, it was almost instant access to the instance then.

gotcha so maybe this is why my queues are faster....I dont sub, I buy
But I'm screwed cause I tried ESO Plus to see if it was still broken on xbox one...and it is, but now it seems I'm gonna get longer queue's after June 14th

I'm leaning towards either this or a possible relation to the large group/incomplete group issue that's been happening since TG.

I had expected longer wait times due to people being more interested in DB content than doing dungeons, however I am concerned that there is a problem with the Grouping tool. I've tried numerous times in the past two days to get a group using the Group Finder throughout the day (prime time, off hours, early morning, late night, middle of the day) with no success. Queued in as healer for over 4 hours in one sitting yesterday but got nothing. Not even a partial group. Unless I'm the only person on PC NA who's been queued into the group finder for the past two days I should have gotten something in all that time.

Would be nice if someone looked into this. I use the Grouping tool for pretty much all my grouping needs and would be sorely put out to loose it...again

Just spent another hour today looking for a group. Tried Queuing for Specific Normal Dungeons instead of Random today. Had each dungeon (except WGT/IP as I don't have the IC DLC) selected but still no luck.

Don't know if any of this info helps but can't see how it would hurt to include it.
The character I'm using is CP501(548 actual), EP faction, Healer Role selected. Queued in alone. Server is PC/NA. Non ESO+ member (only DLC I own is Orsinium).

Same here. Capped CP healer, Tuesday night I was queued for a total of 3 hours, never was selected. Tons of people running around the Undaunted Enclave, lots of LFG chat going on, more so than usual. I submitted a bug report with a screenshot, at that time I think I was around 2 hours.

Last night queued for about an hour and finally got placed for the first time, in ICP to replace the healer for an existing group.

A dps dropped, after about 15 minutes of wait we got a replacement, but he did not have the dlc and had to drop. Then wait for another.

Also ran into multiple LUA errors with the addon "No Thank You" when the Vote to Kick is used. Ran up over 1000 notifications in a few seconds!

I wonder if people are leery of the Vote to Kick and the 15 minute wait if you don't complete. Given how much time you are forced to wait anyway, another 15 minutes here and there is nothing.

Last week though I could easily queue into 5 to 8 dungeons in an evening during the week.

There are a lot of other bugs in the group finder, they really need to make it less unpleasant of an experience to keep folks using it.

269 Templar. ESO subscriber, PC, NA. My queues have been 3+ hours long. I've tried as DPS, Healer, DPS & healer, and grouping with a friend of mine (240 Templar) who is also an ESO subscriber. He's tried tank, heals, and tank & heals on his own and with me in the group.

When my friend went offline, it showed me still queued. Don't know if that's related at all. I would have thought I'd have gotten kicked out of the queue if the leader who queued us was offline.

When a group of 2, tank and healer, are waiting 3 hours and still can't get into a random normal dungeon, there's a problem.

How come there are still "random veteran dungeon" queue, by the way, if there is no longer a veteran level? Could something have slid by someone's attention there, causing an incompatibility with queues?

I've gotten into one dungeon since launch. The rest of the time has been waiting in a queue.

Haven't managed to get a single group through the finder since the new patch/dlc. And I've tried with several characters/roles from lowbies to max level ones.

People in guild chat have had the same experience. It's obvious the finder is broken (once again) - I'm inclined to say it doesn't work at all right now. Unless you have a full group of 4 people ready to go.

Tried again as tank. Failed to get in after two hours in the queue. Pre-DB, it never took more than a couple minutes tops, and usually about 30 seconds.

It is definitely a serious problem, as it's been mentioned in various zone chats on multiple occasions. As mentioned here, even people with pre-made groups can't get in.

The only thing I haven't tried yet is walking up to the door on a dungeon and going in that way. :P

Can't really play at the moment. My first point of interest is doing undaunted, but I can't because a tank queuing for 2 hours is borderline ***.

If only undaunted was account wide, I could get back to PVP
