I have the exact same problem.

I have noticed that these happen way more when I am indoors, rather than outside, but they still occur when roaming outside.

BTW, I am also using the 64-bit client.

Wanted to add my experiences to this thread. I get the same audio glitches fairly frequently - loud static bursts, collections of odd snippets of sound effects, repeating choppy sounds (a bit like a stuck CD but more annoying), no NPC VA.

Had to quit the game just now because the bugs were occurring on all my characters and it's too irritating to play. Logging out doesn't always correct the problem.

I'm using 64-bit too.

Extremely annoying. However, I refuse to go back to the 32 bit client so I deal with it for now. This should be something that gets fixed ASAP and not wait for specific down times. With the new content sometimes there are infinite blade of woe kill sounds even when no where near any NPCs or enemies.

Also, some crashes leaving the Outlaw's Refuge in Gold Coast specifically. Well disconnects, saying no internet connection when it's 100% fine. You can't log back in without restarting the game at that point or you'll keep getting the same error message... has happened a few times so far.. only there and once leaving the DB Sanctuary.

Oh yeah, I also found a sure-fire way to remove the Vampire look no matter what stage (it also stays that way through a full relog/game re-launch) and you can change it back at will. However, I will NOT be reporting that until there's a skin in the store which gives us the option to change it. If you can have glowing stuff all over and another skin that makes you look almost like a vamp even if you aren't, there should be one for vice versa.

That's about the only positive glitch going at the moment. Off topic sorta yeah, but just throwing it out there.

I've had audio glitches for months now.

And gap closers.

And glitched half-health stuck health bars.

And now my bat swarm ultimate doesn't work.

Sound was cutting out in vICP last night. Seemed mainly to be tied to large fights.

Ie: having the healer yolo off, pull every single watcher eye, attro, and trash mob in the area (lets not forget the harvester!) at once before
u-turning and sprinting back to myself, the other DPS and the Tank.

Sound issues on the 64 bit client seem to be much worse after the DB update. I get a lot of sudden bursts of static-y sounds.

Biggest audio bug is in SO. Sound cuts out for the entire group. Constantly and for extended periods.
