Forget going through block when it just breaks after the first hit. Shard heals for 7k each hit, knocks down for 3 seconds, has insane range, doesnt break on damage letting you burst down sorcs. Cant beat obsidian Shard. Shard is love shard is life

    Can be reflected.
    Not reliable when you meteor them :) If there fast enough they'll block before you shard, at least fossilize guarantee's a meteor hit.

    Grats on the 4 stars though... xD

    While i do agree that Obsidian Shard is an underrated ability (base heal is on par with Blessing of Restoration), i am unfortunately forced into Invigorating Drain, in order to be able to afford to have Leap on. The Curse of non-cp Imperial Mag DK - i NEED that 10% regen....

    Id take those to cons for all the pros of obsidian shard.

    And thanks

    The main reason i consider fossilize superior is the fact it cannot be dodged. On some opponents, i've had 4 out of 5 obsidian shards whiff. I need my CC to be more reliable than that.

    I understand that. Main reason I use shard is for the CC that doesnt break on dmg. Tired of CCing someone only for after the 1st hit they spam shields and/or heals

    I agree that when obsidian shard hits, it's great. Hard CC, decent heal. That's why i was running it for a while. Only problem is that between everyone and their mom running shuffle, and the frequent roll dodges, it's a **** to land.

    I have a 5.4k tool tip and being too lazy to do the math id assume with my mending buff it would be 7k

    Isnt a 5.4k tooltip reduced by 50% in PvP... so 2.7k actual heal? + 25% major mending = about 3.4k?

    (2)V16 Sorc- mag dps/stam dps
    (2)V16 nb- stam dps/mag dps
    (1)v16 temp- mag tank/mag dps

    Yes. If your tooltip says 5k (damage or healing), Battle Spirit takes 50% away.

    In this case of healing, 5.4K Tooltip should give;

    5400 x 1,25 x 0,5 = 3375 Healing. With a Crit, that will be 5062, without any Crit modifiers.

    But you don't always get the heal if you're out of range, or it could heal someone else.,
