Animation canceling question

First off I animation cancel I don't mind if other people do either but there is a group in my guild I've been debating with the hate it and think that is largely part of the lag. I don't know much about coding or servers but I would imagine that would be client side and not producing lag.. Does anyone that knows more about that kind of stuff shed some light on this? Thank you. I'm on Xbox NA although I don't think that matters here

Tell them they are idiots because AC has absolutely nothing to do with lag and it certainly isn't an exploit (I'm sure some of them are saying that too). ZOS has said that animation canceling is here to stay a while back, and if was ruining PvP why would they have it or not get rid of it? AC is client side and anyone can do it. If you can't then you just need to L2P. (Sorry this kinda turned into a rant)

simple math instead of one skill you use 2 skills/attack in same period of time = more data send to server = more bandwidth used = more calculations = increased delay = lag

Ac= one of the few things left that require skill. Sustain is ridiculously easy now. If they remove ac there will be little incentive for good players to keep on playing. If it causes lag it does not nearly so much as the giant zergs and guilds, who in general are the ones complaining because they are not skillful enough to do it themselves.

Im not gonna call AC "cheating", but just because ZOS has said they are aware of it does not mean that its not an "exploit" of sorts.

probably the lowest form of "skill" in this game if thats what you want to call it. Its not that huge of a deal but I personally frown upon it, in PvP anyways.

Whoever says AC causes lag needs to use healing springs on 60 peeps.

Boom, approximately 240 times more lag than someone using AC (and that's just for 1 person using it), there are probably more checks, and that wouldn't surprised me to be closer to 1k+.

Does it generate lag? Yes it does. Does it generate lag noticeable by a human? Nope.

How is it the "lowest form of skill?" please explain.

If ZOS says they are aware of something and that it is an acceptable part of the game, that is basically the definition of not being an exploit. How can you be exploiting by using an accepted game element put in place by the developers?
