crit resistance cap around 2000?

I ve been hearing from deltia and sypher that the cap is around 2000,any value higher does not profit you,is that correct?can anyone confirm?thanks ☺

✭It's about 3200 to completely negate crit I believe, but the thinking is that you don't need to negate crit completely so 2000 is probably fine.PC | EU5
