I played AoC from beta till ESO was released. I miss my Bear Shaman... I will check out the video after work.

Anyways, I was so darn addicted to the PvP in AoC! I miss the melee fatalities the most!

I played it for about a year after release as a Dark Templar, before any of the expansions. Also pvped on a lvl 30 ranger for the lolz.

That game was one of my favorites for pvp, until they ruined it by adding guards and making pvp an gear arms race. I liked my assassin, guard, and bear shaman the most.

Bear Shaman were beast! Only class I hated fighting as my Dark Templar.

Havoc demonologist here. I loved casting wicked bolts and launching people off cliffs and rocks. Was hilarious to watch someone go splat.

Dug up this old video of me soloing a kesh boss. Not as cool as the op video. For context, soloing these bosses would be like soloing a sewer boss.

For all you youngins, eso pvp is carebaear compared to aoc pvp. Aoc pvp was open world pvp brutality. If you weren't a regular at the kesh duel pit you were a nobody.

I played at launch but I did not like the combat. I am probably the minority on this one. I didn't like the sequence of arrows I had to execute as it was a royal PITA. I played an assassin to 50 and was just much for me to handle, too many skills, etc.

I love the 5 slots in ESO

I remember Exile. Played Eu aswell..was many good pvp guilds...Rus corp, Nastrandir, Futilez.etc..

Played it way to much....Oh man the old pvp in AOC was so good..

Sad... AoC is so dead... they just released a 1 v 1 PvP pit...

It took ESO releasing for me to realize just how dead AoC was...

Still, I really miss mini-games... ESO would be perfection for me with some form of mini-games / battlegrounds implemented.

Also played EU and had server 1sts on Tier 2/3 raids but man that was bugged to hell and arguably exploitative, especially Tier 3. The melee fatalities were awesome and I did love PvP in that game but my guild wasn't so good at that. One thing I remember about AoC more than anything though was the MUSIC. I remember so vividly the first time I set foot in Cimmeria and thought...wow this is impressive. Very celtic and pulled my ancestral roots straight up from the ground I was sitting on.

Probably the best MMO soundtrack ever.

You can buy the music soundtrack off iTunes. Best music in an mmorpg hands down.

Cool video showing the pit for PvP. Would be really cool to see something like this implemented in ESO... but I would still much rather prefer team oriented PvP... battlegrounds / mini-games added to ESO...

Its the only MMO I've played were I levelled more than one char to max level (HoX, Guardian and Bear Shaman). I also recently purchased the sound track from Amazon which I listen to when I'm working or studying - awesome music.
