Bounty Hunter system?

Is it true that with an undisclosed upcoming patch you'll be able to help real life authorities in bounty hunting? Someone told me that depending on the month, a real "WANTED" individual from various states will be posted in-game on a message board. If a player actually captures, or helps capture said marked individual, he/she will receive special items. If this is true, OMG!!! Immersive game playing at its finest....count me in.

Yes, and it was pretty awesome. I'm actually surprised no other MMO hasn't capitalized on this concept yet. LOVED SWG!!! I truly believe SWG was ahead of it's time.

Player interactivity at its best. I bet tons of people are pissed off about some gankers in the sewers, no doubt they are going to use it.

I actually think a bounty hunter system would be a good way to sink gold into, create a rewards system, and an element of excitement for PvP. I'm all about variety and content....can never be enough. However, I really love this game (ESO) and consider it one of the top five MMOs I've ever played. I'm hoping they continue to add meaningful content and ESO is around for many, many, more years.

Honestly I have no clue about the Justice System. Last I heard they put it on the back burner or scrapped it altogether because the potential of exploiting it just to kill players was too high. I hope they re-visit the "Justice" system, but what gets me more excited than anything is "Housing." They would make a killing by adding micro-transactions for housing items and additions and I'd be willing to line their coffers with my hard earned money, as would many.

Are you talking about after they revamped it for the NGE or the initial installment that was complete garbage?

Swg pre-combat upgrade has a bounty system to hunt jedi (the alpha class) which worked incredibly well. Post new game enhancements, the system was changed to be player bounties on all character based on pvp performance which was done rubbishly. All the players wanted a system where players could put bounties onto other players but SOE refused because they won't couldn't find a way to implement to avoid the players abusing the system and causing grief and what we were left with was a system where the more people you killed, the higher your bounty (money added into circulation) which was then abused to hell through fight clubbing guilds who'd pvp, increase their bounties then have their best mate get bounty, easy kill, profit.

I highly doubt ZOS will implement any form of player bounties with this update, let alone in the future. I'm still waiting for % figures on health bars and for the health bar to reduce logically. Left to right, or right to left; not out to in, but hey... Immersion amiright!!

The original BH system was garbage. It forced PVP on players that didn't want to PVP. Most of the time the only willing participant on the original system was the 1-5 BH's that took the mission and possibly the slew of opposite faction Jedi that followed behind for their Force Ranking.
