seriously, not being able to negotiate 1 inch, 2 inch, 3 inch, 4 inch steps is really getting annoying.

or maybe a movement skill line where walking can be levelled up or something?

i should not have to jump over something no bigger than a boot.

Well, this has been covered elsewhere but something about the last patch worsened this already infuriating mechanism.

There is absolutely nothing I want fixed more than the idiotic speed nerf (leveling a magicka sorc at the moment and I can't believe how much more irritating it is for staminaless dress-wearers) and terrain-problem that has recently gotten worse. Not, mind you, that it had been working well for quite a long time anyway.

I still can't believe how much different a camel or guar is compared to other mounts now, too. Whatever the problem is it affects those particular mounts more.

Yeah, I see it too...my PVP guild is full of constant complaints over mounts as well. This issue was addressed several updates ago, and TG reintroduced it and made it worse. Now, every bump, rise, step, and incline either massively slows or stops your mount -- and then on top of that, half the time sprint doesn't even work as it constantly gets canceled by the terrain. The game's been out for nearly two years...pretty crazy that mounts still get screwed up!

Many of my guildies also played GW2 as well (myself included), and it's been remarked more than once that it's a good thing ESO has no official jumping puzzles like GW2...they'd be impossible due to poor character mobility.

i dont mind jumping, played mario and sonic games as a kid. love those jumping fleas in cyrodiil too (what does that actually accomplish? it makes for fun viewing tho)

but if you are going to model playable characters on humanoids then make them do human things, like lifting feet in the air.

mounts should be able to ride over a 4 inch step. i once saw a horse step over a horse jump in almost nonchalant fashion.

never seen a real guar although they do look a bit like something from jurassic park, maybe steps were not invented back then.

As a point, I am very grateful that there are no jumping puzzles that I've found outside of trying to get to that annoying chest on Bleakrock. As someone who has poor coordination due to a genetic abnormality, I find that most popular games are almost completely unplayable for someone like me, and am grateful when I find that there's one I can usually manage, even if I'm taking my time at it.

but yes, it is annoying that my bear mounts end up stumbling a lot when going through gateways in orsinium. There's really no reason for that, though thankfully it only is a small number of places that I've really had much trouble.

It's not a problem for me, since everytime I see even the smallest obstacle on my path my OCD tingles and I must perform a hole jump, without touching it.

I never jump from cliffs though, I must do that awkwardly awesome mounted 360 mid-air.

This has annoyed the snot out of me forever.
I can fight demonic beings from other worlds, brave monsters spewing flame at me, and wave pieces of wood at badguys and do great harm to them from a distance.
But I trip over ever damned pebble, and a discarded Kleenex in the street causes my forward momentum to come to an abrupt halt.
That stumble going thru gateways - or even stepping up onto a curb - is stupidridiculous.

The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.
