Fewer sorcerers on the PVP leaderboard... why ?

Knowing that people will tell me one sorcerer is right now standing on the first place of AS. However this can only proves that the only one is better than the average number.
Question is why fewer sorcerers standing on leaderboards (both for Trueflame and AS)?
Does it due to the introduction of Shield breaker or something else ?

Leader boards are not indicative of skill, they are only who can farm AP best.

You'll find that the Top 10 for each faction are almost all group players, whether small or large groups, but sorcs thrive in the solo, 1vX & duo arena. It's not to say that Sorcs can't be good in a group, they are just better suited to smaller scale fights.

I find myself playing my Sorc whenever I want to solo duo, but I almost never play him in a group setting.
To be honest, it comes down to their lack of class AoE for me. Mag Sorcs have great tools for 1v1/1vX/small scale, but with the exception of Negate and Restraining Prison, they don't really bring a lot of utility to group play.

I would expect this to change in the coming update with the changes to AP gains favoring smaller groups. I think we will see a golden age of sorc AP gains in the coming months.

I think most recently because the campaigns will be reset when TG launches.
