Shadow Cloak?

So I cast a Revealing Flare (lingering morph). Then right in the field a proxy detonation circle appears, but nothing in the middle of it, just an empty red circle. Then the empty red circle moves through the lingering flare field towards me.

I have only one idea, what that could actually be.

The same with using aoe on these "empty" proxy detonation fields. You can fire into them, but nothing gets hit.

Only when I find myself in the middle of this proxy detonation circle, an ambush spamming, life sapping enemy nightblade appears...

And no it's not lag this time, maybe a glitch in the server code, but 60 fps and 90 ping really should work.

    Cloak is underpowered, it needs to be buffed... it's so easy to counter no wonder no 1 uses it

    Flare has never worked. NB can stand in a flare and cloak. Supposedly on PTS it will lock out the skill.

    Flare works against stealhed people, not cloaked as far as I know. On PTS it also works against cloak.

    Thanks guys for the answers, I think that must be the case.

    I will try that skill in two weeks on live again.

    I used flares and it does work on cloak players how ever it's kinda lacking cause small radius and a travel time like you either have to be really good at guessing and be very lucky or be a grand master at leading the target or have magicka to spare to spam it and fight in it.

    Like personally radius buff to 20 meters faster travel time and last much longer than 7 seconds to say 15 seconds for relieving flare morph

    Flare works fine. Use it on someone in Stealth and a blue ball will appear above the target's head and it will be unable to enter Stealth or use Shadow Cloak.

    I always thought only stealthed players and not cloak. But yesterday i was indeed flared and decloaked :-)
