I agree with what you have to say about red going towards yellow and ignoring blue most of the time and that's possibly because of bad blood from leaders who had previous experiences with yellow (there are former hestra players in BwB that still remember what yellow did to red there). I've seen red go all the way down to alessia and continuously ignore blue even though they took chalman and were on their way to taking arrius. But in my opinion, the same could be said about yellow going towards red. There was one day where blue was only a few keeps away from emp and yellow didn't even have faregyl, but still decided to push red.

BwB will always have zergs on each faction, and I have no qualms about it. I don't like AP farmers either, but you just have to tell the new guys not to go in.

I think people do play the objective since the objective is to take and hold the most keeps before the score evaluation resets, but only blue is being smart about which keeps they take since they seem to be frequently winning the campaign.
