Black Rose set any good?

Hey guys I've recently leveled a stam dk and it's my favorite class now with it's natural tankiness. So far I've been running 7/7 heavy 5 reactive, 2 black rose. Reactive is pretty amazing with the mitigation effect since your cced most of the time on pvp but black rose also looks good with it's constituion effect. So is the black rose set worth using?

Don't use 5 piece Black Rose!! Constitution's return is completely useless!

Black rose 5 piece bonus only applies to one part of the constitution passive, the 'get resources on being hit' part, but not to the 'increased health regen' part. Something to keep in mind in case your character is build around high health regeneration (not that there are many of those).

As for the part that works - constitution passive gives you ~300 resources on being hit, once every 4 seconds. Black rose increases that by 50%, so black rose itself gives ~150 resources every 4 seconds, which is basically equal to ~75 regen(x2 because it regens both stam and mag), as long as you are constantly being hit. Personally, i don't think it's all that great(to put it mildly).

I forgot that Black Rose also gave you weapon and spell damage.

so the 5-pc bonus is: +60 stam regen, +60 mana regen, +150 dmg. That isn't too bad.

i used to wear 5 reactive too, but now im using 5 black rose. i recommend it.
i always break free when stunned, so....reactive was not so usefull rly
give it a try, with some drink regen is not a problem at all.

I got reactive also and dont really see the point of it, if you dont cc break your dead anyway

Both WERE true before that stupid patch.

So, nerfing the passive and adding an inferior set which only reason of its existence to buff that nerfed passive to a level close to its original value, is only a thing one can only expect from ZOS.

Sometimes doing the simpliest thing is the best thing instead of this kind of fancy moves which would end up in fail.

The point isn't in not CC breaking, but in surviving long enough to be able to CC break and start defending yourself.
It is often not possible to break CC before the enemy who CC-ed you lands his most powerful attack on you. Prime example being feared and eating a surprise attack+soul harvest combo, or any CC involving Azura-grade lag.

Also, the reactive protection often triggers from effects that do not completely incapacitate you, like silence, or the channeled root that wolf NPC's use. In high lag scenarios, i often see myself glowing green for extended periods of time while being able to act normally.
