Hey All!

I'm a new PVP player and finally got my Templar to VR16. I've re-rolled a ton of characters was almost going with DK but found that I love my Templar too much. Plus it's taken me since launch to get to VR16 so I'm sticking with this beauty no matter how gimped, etc. it is! I probably should've rolled Dark Elf to feel kind of equal with regards to the racial stats (magicka and stamina) but I'm Breton... I just tell myself if I go stamina its OK bc i'll have some utility for when I use magicka skills....But anyways...

I wish to come up with a build on my own but am having difficulties deciding on what gear sets are best. Does anyone have any gear guides that they can link?

One site I found was http://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife.com/Sets but it seems to be very slow and kind of clunky I was wondering if this is the most up to date and best site to reference?

Also, should I only try to wear V15-16 gear? I see some gear sets stop at certain levels, I'm wondering at what level does it become useless?

As far as spending AP, should I spend it on specific types of gear or use it on one of the bags? If bags, which bag there seems to be many...

    Sets are very much made to fit your build. I'm a straight healer Templar, love it. I run all vet 16 gear, it does make a difference. 3piece will power necklace/rings arcane. My two piece monster helm sett, I have 2 at the moment that I like to run with my 5 piece Kagrenac's hope.

    I guess I'm trying to find a site that lists all of the gear sets and where to find them/if they're crafted. So I'm going to assume the link I posted is the best and most up to date site to look?

    I do need help knowing if I should spend my AP on gear? And if so, on the specific gear sets or the random bags?

    Also, I should probably not wear gear lower than V12? Just so I can minimize my search on gear.

    The cyrodiil sets you can buy with AP really aren't used at the moment because they don't scale to VR16. I'd save your AP. Early this year they're adding a vendor that sells monster helms for AP. That will be your best use of AP.

    AWESOME, thank you! Are monster helms the helms like engines guardian, etc?

    Yes @billywink3b14_ESO they haven't announced how exactly they're gonna work, since sets like engine guardian come in light, medium, and heavy with different traits, but they will be purchasable with both gold and AP. I recommend buying them with AP because there's no other real uses of AP at the moment.
