That was pretty much exactly what he said. Yes they want to add skill lines in the future, but they want to get what we already have balanced and such first.
there will NEVER be balance in this game when the DEVs do not play their game.
agreed.
And they basically won't - simply because for them the game is WORK, and in their spare time they want to get away from WORK. So why the heck should they play it in their spare time?

You're very fortunate. Not everyone has a job doing something they enjoy.

Just wanted to address some of the frustration about lack of details and new information being expressed in this thread. We've made a decision to tell you as much as we're able, as early as possible, and earlier than we have in the past. That means sometimes we can only tell you "We're working on X" without an ETA or additional details. This is especially true when we're talking about features we're working on that aren’t on the immediate horizon.
We understand you guys want dates on everything in the Year Ahead Article, and we’ll be working to keep you updated on these as soon as we’re ready and confident to share those dates. We will share with you full details and dates for everything coming to ESO in the next year, but it won’t come all in one shot, and definitely not this early in the year.

its not about being fortunate, its about passion. if you don't love it, you've got no business doing it. literally

When did ZOS say they were close to releasing PvP in the Justice System?
Companies scrap products and services after announcing a schedule for release all the time. Did ZOS even give us a schedule for PvP justice?
You said "those companies". Are you talking about Apple and MS? Those two companies have very little transparency when it comes to devices. On the other hand, MS has made many announcement of plans for Windows Phone over extended periods of time that they ended up cancelling because they knew they couldn't deliver. It happens all the time.
"Accountability" for what? For letting you know their tentative plans? You asked to know. If you can't handle disappointment, don't ask about plans because they often don't work out. Definitely don't ask to see the inner workings of software projects.
We shouldn't be like teenagers who complain when their parents don't get them the car they promised them because the family car broke down and they had to spend all their money on a replacement. Plans are always tentative, especially at early stages and when the plan is far in the future.
No way, Im already at 523 or so. This can only mean one thing that they are adding CP-gear grind and CP-system is taking secondary place, so CP-system is gonna be secondary source of power and gear is primary.

I spent 30+ years doing a job I didn't love. But it offered security, it paid well and it let me retire in my early '50s. Now I am able to pursue things I do love, but which don't usually pay well (such as playing video games, for instance).

So with enlightenment you get a very easy 1 to 2 CP a day depending where you are in the cap.
I just got 415 CP and I play a fair amount. The champion point cap isn't going to be raised for approximately 150 days? That's 150 days of enlightenment until the cap is changed and by a miniscule amount. I'm not sure what the average is but that's 250 to 300 almost free champion points leading up to the dark brotherhood dlc for those around 100 to 150 champion points currently. And for your "regular" and "loyal" fans we will be well above the 500 point cap with no incentive or ability to really "further" our character's development. The champion system really sold me on the game because it rewarded you for putting time into it.
The catch up system is great it gives those that don't have the time or are just starting a chance to compete. But a catch up system shouldn't hinder growth at such a rate that even if we were to strictly play your game with enlightenment, and then get off we'd still virtually cap out. What does that say for motivation.
It's replacing the Veteran rank system, so it will be tied to the gear you want to wear.nordmarian wrote: »Also will CP be mandatory for wearing more powerful items? Or it will only allow you to use certain rare motifs? Or certan rare item sets?

No wrong. All we want to know is what is coming with the THIEF GUILD. And if you did not notice, Thief guild will launch on PTS 3 WEEEKS. THREEEEEE WEEEEEEKS and NOT A SINGLE COMMENT/PREVIEW ON THAT CONTENT.
Why do you guys keep to lie to your costumers? Just tell us that you did not prepare *** for that ESO LIVE and we are all good to go.
And do not understand me wrong, I know you are here to communicate with us and you are doing your job, but tell the Head-Devs that they are doing a very poor job.
3 Weeks to early to ask for information on a DLC? I DO NOT *** THING SO.

What an ignorant view on the world. Sounds like something someone born with a silver spoon in their mouth would say.
I'm sure sewage workers are passionate about filthy and smelly sewage pipes, construction workers are passionate about working in 100 degree heat doing incredibly difficult labor, slaughterhouse workers are passionate about mass killing animals, impoverished laborers are passionate about mass-producing clothing and electronics for other countries, and felons are so happy working terrible kitchen jobs because they can't get hired anywhere else.
We don't have the technological advancement yet to be able to only work nice and pleasant and preferable jobs. We need people who work the terrible jobs because we can't automate that labor with machines yet.
First off I like the Ask Us anything and ESO live - its a hell of a lot more than a lot of other MMO's I have played have ever done and it's nice to see them. However
1) While I like the lore of ESO - I don't like the questions being done in ask us anything. Maybe they could have a lore section for questions as well. The lore questions tend to be for a very small section of people and not the wider player base. Personal I like lore but would like more on Argonian's and don't care about mangy cat people
2) I find that there are major concerns over PvP ability spamming, imbalance in racial abilities, lack of solo end game content ect ect that never get touched. I would think that the actual state of the game should get more air time.
3) While I would rather have some news than no news the line no ETA on everything is a bit disappointing. Couldn't we hear about some things we are actually going to see soon even if they are not major.
i hope you do realize once all the streamers quit say goodbye to your money and your game because they are the only people keeping it alive you dont see any pve players bringing 500+ views to your game dont you see this?

I will just react to this point. This is a misconception a LOT of poeple have. PVP STREAMERS are the most visible part of the community. Yet they are FAR from being the majority.
The majority of players play the game, probably relatively casually, they don't come on forum and you have no idea they do exist.
