They'll be spending a lot of resources into new skins... for you mount, likely some type of useless pet as well.
Maybe a new dress?Forestd16b14_ESO wrote: »Pangnirtung wrote: »Seriously how could they add any new skill lines when the ones that are in game are still broken?
What this guy said and what pretty much every one is saying. Why should ZOS add more skills in the game when the ones in the game are imbalanced/broken.
Well they should stop bringing dlc/pets/mounts and other useless stuff and fix the game first.
I'm sure putting their full team or the majority of it to work on fixing it for a week or so wouldn't cripple them, then they'll have a stable foundation to release dlc that actually look good and hopefully encourage new people to sub or new players in general.
Legerdemain is the Thieves Guild skill line.
- What possible skills could they even add that would be "fun" or "useful"? (If they do add new skills, I'm pretty damn sure everybody would be crying about how pointless some of them are)
- Fix the current skills before adding any more

After TG, by 51 points.

Thanks. Wow. That is a lot slower than I anticipated. Time to stop grinding CP and level up some alts or go fishing.

Yes they should stop focusing on pets, mounts, costumes and so on and focus on fixing the skills but players crying about wanting new skills 24/7 really isn't helping. Cause here is what I hear when I read a post about wanting new skills "I want a new I win button that can kill in 1 hit cause every one else is using the same 1 shot kill build I'm using".
So please stop all this crying about new skills cause they will never happen as long as the skills that area already live in the game are imbalanced/broken. Like if any one of you were a programmer would you add new skills to the game when you know the skills already live are busted? I should wouldn't cause that would just cause more problems so why should ZOS?

if thats the case they should postpone everything til the existing stuff is fixed. pressure to release new stuff will always be. im not a programmer, im a customer. they released it, they can fix it. another episode of ESO live(dead) that fails.

As long as ppl keep spending money on the fluff like costumes and mounts the cash flow continues.

Also another reason behind no new skills is the DLC it self. They said it will only really be adding is a the thieves guild quest line and a new trial that's it and to players who don't play thieves or play the good guy won't be apart of the thieves guild which means they only be buying a new trial and pretty sure players wont wanna waste 3000 crowns on that so they'll just not buy it.
Now if the player doesn't buy it and there was a new skill line that means they never be able to use it which means this one player who did buy it will have those skills and if they are broken (most likely would have) they have a unfair advantage against they player who didn't buy it. Which in a nutshell means the thieves guild DLC would have been P2W cause if a player didn't have those skills they would be at a disadvantage against those who did buy it and join the thieves guild.

OK, now there may be reasons Firor and Co. could not give ETA's on things. Maybe they just don't know yet.
Then don't do an ESO live! Just the fact that they promoted an event communicating about their game, and they all trotted out there and said basically nothing shows us all how inept their management is. Damn, just say you have to delay it a week or two because you want to be able to tell us something concrete.
The only thing we got concrete in this patch, is what we AREN'T getting
We aren't getting new skill lines
We aren't getting PVP Justice
We aren't getting Spellcrafting (face it, it's never going to happen)
All of the "positive" changes:
Thieves Guild - No ETA
Dark Brotherhood - No ETA
Barbershop - No ETA
Arenas / BGs - No ETA
Their responses to the problems with PVP equate to me running out onto a freaking six-lane highway with my arms waving about wildly hoping someone stops and helps me. It's embarrassing.
People have complained about a lack of communication. What this company shows is BAD communication. When they actually talk to us, they say:
- Let's talk about something, but not really (Wrobel, AOE Caps)
- We fixed A, B, & C (Not really. Oops, and we broke D. No ETA on the "fix")
- We cancelled a feature we talk about many times
- We added a new X to the crown store
- The game is very successful and wow, what a great 2015
- And of course... NO ETA

Cause BoP is hopefully being removed and have equal counter parts (not same exact skills but power wise) in the base game. Plus only like 1 or 2 sets are any good and unlike skills/spells sets can more easily balanced.
Personally I and from what I've read and heard in person most want balance and fixes for what we have now, not more broken skills. Stop drama Queening every thing said/done by ZOS.
