Stamina NB gear

For a wood elf stamina NB for PVP, what would be optimal gear to wear? I heard 5 peice hundings, 4 peice night mothers gaze and 3 peice agility is good.I know the agility is the jewelry, but out of the other peices of gear what should the weps, chest, gloves and so on be? Also with that being said do I want all the armor medium? and what traits for each peice of gear and wep. Thank you.

Also I am dual wield, so would daggers or 1 hand axes be better? is bow or two hand better for second bar?

Disclaimer: I am not an acclaimed min-maxer, so take with a grain of salt.

My target stamblade PvP gear is 5 hundings (or 5 shield breaker, situational), 3 agility, 1 kena, 1 bloodspawn and maelstrom weapons. Have everything except the weapons so far and I get by pretty well.

I was running night mother's before I got my monster set drops, it works as well. I switch between 2h and bow on my off bar depending on the situation.

Axes are pretty weak overall, use daggers if you need more crit or maces for the armor penetration.

For PvP only Shieldbreaker is better than Hunding, but Hunding is a better all-purpose stamina dps set.

If you are rich enough to afford it, make separate PvP and PvE gear, cos you'll want Divines for your PvE set, but Impenetrable for PvP.

Untill Shield-Breaker, I'd run 5 Hundings the rest Nightmothers. That's what I like as a vet 3. Although I switched to an all Bow bar, because people love being sniped right. <Kappa>
Vet 5 NB- Gaelwen Forestmire (Vamp(cured)/Stam)
Vet 1 Templar- Kozawah Incarnic (None/Magicka/Healer)
    Level 4 DK- Trecldur (Magicka)

It's situational. If I'm on a keep wall or tower then shield breaker & bow can be a great deterrent to anyone getting close. If I'm ganking in the sewers then the extra burst damage from hundings & dual wield is nice.

@BoaNoite , I'd argue that to an extent there is no "optimal" gear choice because of difference in build, playstlye, and situation.

Being a Stam NB myself, I'd say your priorities are Weapon Damage, Max Stamina, Weapon Critical, and Stamina Recovery, in that order more or less (Recovery may switch places depending on how much you want).

Being a Khajit, right now I'm running 5 Hundings, 5 Briarheart, and 1 Molag Kena. With near 65% crit, I always have an extra ~430 Weap dmg from Briar. But again, the build is subject to change depending on what I can get my hands on gear-wise, and what specific stat I feel I need more of (e.g. I don't have a second Robust Agility Ring).

Good sets to look at for Stamblade: Hundings, Briarheart, Molag Kena, Bloodspawn, Night Mother's, Sentry, Toxic Defiance, Essence Thief, Agility, Ravager, Shadow Walker, (others).

The only reason you wouldn't want all Medium (just look at dem passives) is if you can take full advantage of Undaunted passive that grants 6% max stats when wearing 3 types of armor. This will increase you burst damage in Pvp, but the trade off is felt in your Med armor passives (recovery, stealth, and roll dodging I think?).

    5 shieldbreaker 3 agility 2 endurance 1 kena 1 bloodspawn :-) Great stats overall.

Or 5 morkuldins as an alternative.

Crit is ok but not that great unless you have a high damage low sustain build.
Also doesn't work against shields, and people can mitigate it to some degree with impenetrable.

Oh yeah, with sorcs and Harness Magicka being on a lot of peoples bar Shield Breaker set is starting to be a must.

I wouldn't. I personally don't prefer the 1/2/3/4 piece stats it gives, and I find the 5 piece too situational for me. It can work really well (and it's what I ran before I had mats for Hundings), but it comes down to personal preference. If you feel the advantage against Sorcs is worth sacrificing another 5 piece, then yes you should do it. I really does help against the Shield spam.

Like I said, I don't think there is a "best set" or "best in slot" like there was in WoW.

EDIT: the other thing about Shield Breaker is you can only use Armor pieces, where with Hundings for example, you can use crafted weapons. I find it annoying that you have to dedicate 5 body pieces to get the bonus.

SB IS really easy to get now only costing 25k tel var for all 5 v16 pieces, so that's a huge bonus.

2H would limit you to melee (if your main is DW), but you gain access to some really powerful skills that are great for Pvp.

Bow would give you range and access to a lot of really useful utility that is also perfect for Pvp.

1H shield will give you a lot of surviveability and utility.

What is your over-all goal or playstyle with your build? Up-close and personal? Ganks from stealth? Solo-play? Group? Well-rounded? Burst damage? 1vX? High-sustain?

The answers to those questions will decide what your second weapon is.

Probably, burst damage, small group, ganking

TRUE, I did! It's ranged-ish. But if you have Flying Blade, do you need 2H? No reason for Rally w/ Flying Blade on your bar...unless you just like the heal.

2H will always have Wrecking Blow tho, I suppose.

If your first bar is DW, maybe 2H? The combo of Rally(2H) and Vigor (Alliance War) is strong and will give you a lot of surviveability if you're relying on yourself for healing. Major Brutality (20% weap. dmg) from Rally/Flying Blade/or wherever you get it, is also essential if you want to do burst damage.
Wrecking Blow (2H) is also a great burst damage skill.

Bow also has Snipe and Poison injection, two great skills for ganking and attacks out of stealth.

Like I said before, it's gonna come down to personal preference. No weapon tree is better than any other in every sense.

I use 5 hundings and 2 ashens grip for armor and ashens grip dw swords and greatsword. I'm vet 6 so no fancy jewelry equipped yet, but I have one vet16 agility necklace waiting. I'm happy with the extra health from ag over stamina since all my attribute points are in stamina. I had nightmothers before ag and hit harder but had less survivability. Instead of changing my points, I switched gear to try it out.
