What if the Endurance 3p was dodge chance?

It's supposed to be the tanking jewelry set, but 5pc v14 Footman is still better. Tanks need block cost reduction or dodge chance more than regen these days anyway. What if?

    Stamina regen is of little use since it doesn't work while blocking, so I agree with the OP. I am not using this set on my tank for this reason.

    I would rather have stamina cost reduction, block cost reduction, more physical resistance, overall damage reduction, resources when hit, or even more shield strength.

    My Argonian Templar Tank runs the set and it is great for me 5 Orc Scales 4 Song of Lamae and 3 Endurance. 5 heavy 2 medium. Getting great armor passives.

    CP 25% block cost reductions 20% Stamina regeneration 15% Health regeneration.

    Endurance is all Healthy with 2 Health regeneration enchantments 1 Stamina regeneration.

    It helps that I only block big attacks and do full heavy Attacks very often as one Vigor and my crazy health regeneration takes care of the damage. I have AFKed had mobs respawn and hold at 55% cause of the scales 5 piece bonus it's crazy.

    High Health high health regeneration on a Tank is the best 36k health in PvE without food. Ungodly staying power. Used to be Unassailable for the three piece but it stops at VR10.

    Im using 3 pc endurance as well, 2 rings and a 2hr on buff bar, 1hr on main bar. With weapon damage on the rings and neck, and a weapon damage glyph on the weapons its kinda a "poor mans" version of agility......with health.

    Im not exactly positive of the exact stat breakdown between the two, but im not noticing much of a difference overall.

    20% dodge chance on a 3-set bonus seems a bit op because it is normally a 5-set bonus.

    But Endurance does kinda suck cos stam recovery doesn't work whilst actually blocking as a tank.

    Robust Endurance jewelry with weapon damage enchants are fine for a heavy armor stam dk dps.

    I can't see why you wouldn't want to use endurance it would immediately go best in slot.

    Doesn't need to be as high as 20%

    This thread is talking about tanking, not dpsing. I was talking to one of those unkillable magicka DKs who run around PvP about this the other day. 5 Footman is still the tanking BiS apparenlty.

    If you want it to be an alternative to footmans, then make it increase block mitigation by 4 or 6%. You can't do dodge chance because it would stack with major evasion and could be too powerful.

    In PvP with max health percent increases I have 45k health and it's a Tank build tanks don't kill that's the problem with PvP Tanks with kill able DPS and DPS that's extra Tanky.

    Should dedicated healers be able to kill? They can do damage, but they won't kill you unless you let them...

    Same with PvP tanks. Their job is to get in the way, disrupt enemy groups, and then bait and soak damage. They don't kill, but their purpose is totally legitimate.

    Why not make another set with that? I use endurance and like it very much since it costs me a fraction of why agility would, and I can achieve the same thing by replacing a stam regen enchant with a wpn dmg one.

    Because of the reasons you just stated. It was intended to be a tank-ish jewelry set, but in reality it's only a less good version of Agility. PvE and PvP tanks don't use it and are still using v14 gear. Go Monstrous Tooth farming, and you can have Agility.

    Disagree. For solo play of course, but for group play unkillable tanks are amazing.

    If using dw or 1h/s 3 agility 2 endurance is beast. It an be 3 endurance also depending on what you prefer between dmg and stam recovery. Add 5 piece hundings rage and a monster set shoulder-helmet and youve got so many set bonuses. It's what I do and works great, better stats that 5/4 + jewelry.
