Vamp Sorc

So I was wondering if these are viable in pvp (nonvet)
What appeals me : Magicka regen, sneaking without penalty, and batswarm (not even so much, I prefer overload)

I could put some cp into elemental defense or whatever it's called but was wondering how much I'd need to put in it so I wouldn't notice fire damage. Or should I stay normal ?

I dropped vampirism from my sorc, had it for awhile and leveled it up and morphed the skills, mainly just used for bat swarm. I just looked at it as more of a hassle than a help. A few unluckly dawn breakers helped make the decision for me.

Either way I know sorcs that stay vamp just for the swarm. It's Gonna be up to you in the end.

I recently went vamp on my sorc and i like it. Dawnbreaker doesn't hit as hard as people say (still hurts tho). I think what i enjoy the most is the undeath passive (take less dmg under 50% health) the most. As a sorcerer your main heal is healing ward which is even stronger with low health so taking less dmg when you have low health is beneficial. I dont really like bat swarm the only active skill i use is elusive mist. Great for escaping. Timed perfectly with streak/dodgeroll you can basically kite away from any fight you want

I'm not vamp om my sorc, but as long as you have your ward up (which you always should) then fire doesn't do any more damage than usual to my knowledge. Shield have no weakness. They just take flat damage. So take points from elemental defender and pump bastion.

If I was vamp on my sorc, don't think I'd find dawnbreaker a big deal as I do most my fighting from range

In nonvet pvp it could be good, especially as only very few people will have camouflaged hunter or dawnbreaker. But if someone has those skills, you'll probably die fast, since you probably don't have hardened ward yet.

I personally would put my cp into bastion on a sorc (if you can shield stack allready).

Dawnbreaker on non-vamp hits really hard alresdy the additional 60% makes it even worse alongside with the camo hunter bug. I personally haven't and never will use it on my sorc
