When did it become so difficult to pick up siege? Someone hits you, you are still locked onto the siege and by the time you get off you are dead, and you have lost the siege.

The problem is the ability to kill someone under 2 seconds right now with certain combos. It is horrible game design to allow that to even be possible .

But I have noticed it taking longer as well lately.

Well, you should be aware that you are exposed in open and sitting target while sieging, so you should expect that someone's going to kill you soon.

So get off siege while it reloads, buff you up and switch healing potion in quickslot after you deploy siege. That way you improve your changes to survive incoming attack.

You're in Cyodiil, be aware at all times.

I, for one, recommend sticking to your guns, never releasing them between shots no matter what, because danger of being robbed of them by ballista thieves is very high.

I always free my self from seige until it has reloaded itself,

so engage seige, Fire shot, disengage seige,

I have been ganked many times while being bound to a seige weapon that i figure this way to be best..
