so im ok with this in some ways. Im all for pvp sets being sold in their since I don't pvp. And I understand pvp'ers want a chance at pve sets without pve. But I think it should be made so all dungeon sets are sold for high AP cost only and pvp sets are sold for high GOLD only. Making this will in turn keep people from seeing me in pve were I stay doing dungeons all day and saying hey he just bought that set whatever. this way only people who have bin pvp'ing for long times can afford the set. Were as I have low AP points from never pvp'ing and have lots of spare gold from all the loot I sell witch work for the pvp set sold for high gold. what do you guys think?

I ignore your comment that's the whole point of badass dungeon sets they look cool and are harder to get I want to show them off I want people to comment on them there bragging rights basically. but now they will be less special cuss they can just be bought but this can be helped by doing this the way I suggested.

Doesn't matter to me. Pvp guys can buy pve gear with ap and pve guys can buy pvp gear with gold. You're just upset because you can't feel special any more? I haven't started the grind for dungeon sets yet, I would of did them, but I'm glad I won't have to. Though it might be easier/cheaper to get them from pve if you're lucky.

Leaderboards are ESO's bragging right place. Besides, in the future, they can give unique crafting styles, what could work as bragging right thing, but if you give awesome gears for top players, whining starts, as we witnessed with VMA.

Maybe they should start to give some unique BoP crafting styles for all leaderboard players so they can dress up correctly, or unique Titles, or Mounts or even Emotes. What never will be sold at Crown Store.

Speaking of Emotes, I hope one day we will see Darkfall style kill-animations, you kill someone, he stays dead 5 sec, you can go to him and give an execution.

Awe,poor baby..Bragging rights? If that gear was really really rare,I could see it,but it isnt. There are a whole lot of other people wearing your gear besides you, since so many have already won all the PvP instances. And most players dont even know that your gear is hard won. They're too busy playing the game to pat you on the back.

Because we all know gold is the PvE currency just like alliance points are the PvP currency, right?

PvE players making more gold than PvP players is a myth. All the gear we get is BoP while all the gear from PvP is BoE. Not to mention raiders spend a lot more gold on repairs.

Instead of adding a merchant they should have just made all gear dropped BoE. Encourage the free market, and let the raiders and PvEers (whatever the *** it means to be one) make gold on the things they spend their time on just like PvPers, and at the same time give PvPers a chance to get the gear without being forced to do the content. And no, material grinding is not a PvE activity so before anyone mentions that as an argument I would like to put that out there.

This is just yet another bandaid fix; adding merchant that appear at set times with random pieces with random traits. Even more absurd that they are considering making the purchased versions BoE when the dropped ones aren't. Yet another way for PvPers to make gold off what they do while PvEers are left behind yet again, having to rely solely on farming materials, motifs or whatever is selling well at the current time.

Not to sound as mean as him but I agree I got better things to do than pat someone on the back. I commend players who can mix match a few armor sets and dye them to look like an absolutely beast combination more so than a boss helm some vr 1 can get from rngesus only time I ask about gear peices is when I've never seen it before. Like the lesser known sets that drop in dungeons that become fodder. I got helms and shoulders I don't want a pat on the back aside from very few helms that don't look awkward as all hell mixed with anything but mercenary style.

Not hard to get at all, inconsistent and unreliable to get due to RNG.

If you want difficult gear, you'd be running VMA and wouldn't even bring up the joke which is 'dungeon sets'.

Talking about how you want difficult gear, you're making excuses for the sake of indirect flame bait.

You can finish VMA without dying to obtain a title, you can complete VMA for difficult to get gear but no, that's too difficult for you? You want a game marketed as being casual friendly to instead cater to masochists instead?

You've obviously not been playing for very long; for instance the old veteran dungeons have a heavy, medium and light armor set, after running thousands of dungeons I only managed to finish the heavy set and acquire two pieces of the light set. It's not difficult, it's stupid nonsensical RNG which leads to poor play experience.

This entire game is based around using the combat system best over loot, loot is such a poor and very serious issue in my opinion, you can complete all content with crafted gear and decent to good jewelry. Which is fine but we don't even have jewel-crafting, spell-crafting or class only gear sets; knowing all of this you want to make the entire experience for new and old players even worse? Why do you want to be the only person on both Megaservers whom plays this game?

I play PvP and have run probably around 100 Vet Pledges to get Monster pieces, I have Divines Bloodspawn Helm in Heavy and Medium, I have one Divines and one Impen Engine Guardian, one of those is Heavy the other is light. I also without exaggeration have gotten around 15 Bogdon Nightflame shoudlers. F***ing FIFTEEN. I have NO USE for this crap and to this point I choose to run without a 2 piece monster bonus. I don't want to spend my first hour of gameplay every day running both pledges just to get some sht shoulders I can't use. Additionally PvErs have the option of just buying PvP sets (like Arch-Mage) and such. It's rather selfish to want to force people to farm for what you have because you like farming anyway. Imagine if you could only get your pieces by winning a dueling tournament.

Buy with what? Gold? Compared to PvPers making AP which they can convert to gold we make no gold from our activities, and just because you PvE doesn't mean you like to grind the same dungeon over and over.

Going to quote what I wrote a couple of comments above yours because you obviously didn't read the entire thread before commenting:

I am all for PvPers being able to buy them, but allow us "PvEers" to sell them then aswell, especially if they make the bought version BoE.

Thats why they need to introduce new currency like AP and TS what you get from all vet-content. Also maybe vet-content should give some Cyrodil Ranks points too, or then that new vet-content currency can be used to buy Cyrodil Ranks, in order to get skill points.

Would that be enough though? I mean if you get the currency from any vet dungeon why would you want to do city of ash? Ok, so WGT you get gear drops, so there's an incentive, but CoA?.
