So while skyshard hunting in Cyrodiil last night, my group and I went into a good number of delves, houses and churches. I've never really taken the time to actually look for some of the shards that were definitely off the beaten path and was amazed at how awesome some of these areas are in Cyrodiil. The entire time I kept thinking to myself how fun it would be to have fights in the countless little huts, ayelid ruins, grand church rooms and even the delves. Jumping over tables, hiding behind columns, shooting from balconies and utilizing choke points in hallways would all add new tactics to fights. I understand IC was an attempt at doing this, but with the constant mobs running around it is more of a PvE zone and doesn't really have to feel of "small scale".
Small group fights in these ALREADY IN PLACE areas would be so much fun and split up the monotony of the constant siege warfare. Honestly, putting simple timed objectives (like dolmens, or wells) in these areas would attract many players that are most likely in smaller groups (I hope) and bring back some of the much needed small scale that is so minute now in today's meta. I'm obviously always going to want arena based combat (ex WoW addict), but these beautiful small scale locations have BEEN there and won't need much work to implement at ALL! If ZOS truly believes Cyrodiil should be the main pvp spot, why not add smaller spots inside that actually reward players for completing them? Thoughts?
