Launcher stuck at "Updating Applications List"

My launcher this morning was stuck or frozen at "Updating Applications List".

I had to force quit it, retried launching and frozen again.

I re-booted my iMac and tried to start the launcher. Still gets stuck/frozen.

I have turned off my firewall to allow all connections. Have no anti-virus.

Suggestions? Help? Please?

    Where is the end game? You just played it.

    Where is new content? Sigh.

    This has never happened before even with the server being updated.

    I have the PTS installed on a separate drive with a separate launcher and folder and it too freezes so I doubt that it is related to the server being updated.

    I fixed it on both the PTS and NA PC/MAC server.

    What I did was to download the ESO installer and run it.

    It didn't reinstall the game just the launcher and voila. Now it works!
