poor picture but you mean the heavy attack?

A fully charge heavy attacks does way more then a medium attack.
Fire staff, CP into staff attack dmg and maybe the molten weapons from DK. If this crit, you get dmg.

13.9k Heavy Attack is actually underpar, even without CPs into light/heavy attacks I do about 15K+ in with no problem.

And when you put CPS into that tree, you do more dmg.

DKs have a skill that increases the damage of their heavy attacks by 43% with further increase against low health targets. So as you probably had low health when the second heavy attack hit you, there's nothing wrong with that heavy attack.

How does a 43% increase from c 6k go to 14k? Please explain all the math I don't understand.

When people build for it, heavy attacks do insane damage. I've seen em over 18k, this is nothing special

infact, I'd say a well placed heavy attack is probably the highest damaging move in the game.

Considering the charge time, certain class or skills that buff this, your right on the money.

That pic doesn't lie and neither are the other people in the forum. Heavy attacks hit for more than 6k in many cases. In PvP people don't rely on heavy attacks too much, which might be why you have not experienced it till now.

You must have missed half of the sentance, I wrote about further increase against low health targets.
So with the skill your heavy attacks do 143% of the normal damage against players at full health and up to 293% of the normal damage against someone who has low health.
Additionally it would be possible that the 6k hit wasn't fully charged and only the 14k hit was a critical strike.
