Exactly how many gargoyle cycles am I to battle before the battle completes. I finally quit after five. I also started making sure I stayed on the pad. What am I missing?

You are on a quest right? In a tower with many floors?
You need to make the gargoyle hit the 4 stone statues or something in the room. So just stand next to the statues.PC, EU server, Ebonheart Pact
