Long Zone Load Times - ZOS Lies

Recently, in your last eso live feature you promised that this issue would be fixed in the next patch which you said would happen around October 12th. So i wait and sure enough there is a patch today. Surprisingly upon logging in i see my character still takes as long to load as before the patch so i try loading different zones and same for every zone. Why bother bringing the topic up in eso live and say its getting fixed if it isn't. THAT'S CALLED LYING. Probably you will say its going to be fixed in a future patch now, so that'll be another month or two, or maybe you'll never fix it. Any response on your BLATANT LIES would be appreciated.

Assuming we're looking at the same episode, it was never promised that the loading screens would be fixed with the latest patch. Our Creative Director Rich Lambert stated that we had fixed some things that were leading to long loading screens, and also recently put in some tracking on the backend to gather additional data to help us further diagnose the issue. It's something we're still looking into and continue to investigate, but the loading screens you run into shouldn't be as long as they were when Imperial City first launched.

They are not as long.. at least.. the 5-20 min versions..

But my VR characters take 1-3 min to zone or even use transus, while my level travels/zones almost instantaneously.

Where is the end game? You just played it.
Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
    Where is new content? Sigh.

I'm betting porcine aviation becomes a reality before long loading times vanish from ESO.

    PS4 user here.

How is it you'll respond to a thread about long loads yet wont update or address the issue that people cant even login or play due to DCs?

The last response we got was Aug 10, look at how many people are still posting issues.

Hi Gina, thanks for the response and of course you're right. I just rewatched the episode and you never promised it would be fixed, so i retract my original comments and apologize. That being said i very much hope this issue will be fixed sooner rather than later. Before imperial city load times were the same for all my characters now my vet lvl character takes so long to load than it did previously but my low lvl 3 alt takes the same time as it use to and my lvl 45 character is in between the two. So it seems the more advanced your character is the longer it takes to load zones. Hope you guys can fix this so we can enjoy the quick load times we were used to before imperial city.

Don't worry about it, mistakes happen. :) Totally understand where you're coming from, and we know it's super frustrating. As previously mentioned, we've put in numerous things to track info on this to help us further understand where the problem is ultimately stemming from. We want it fixed more than anyone!

What 5 min loading times, ROFL that's not only because of the servers of eso xD
