Mind-Shriven Skin

I saw that the new Mind-Shriven skin was available in the Crown Store. Like usual, I hit the "r" key to preview it before I purchased and it looked cool. I was excited about walking around with the skin and no gear on because that is what the preview showed me. When I purchased the skin and put it on, I found out that the preview was a lie. I wasted 1200 crowns on something that was falsely advertised. I don't want this skin if it keeps my armor on. Every other costume shows you exactly what you look like when you hit the preview button. This one was a lie. Please return my 1200 crowns to my account. I do not want to spend 1200 crowns on something that does not do what the preview button says. I also recommend changing the tool tip on it so that others will know that it does not hide your armor.

    Ermm, are you saying you cannot remove your armour/clothing after selecting the Skin to use?

    Or, are you expecting it to automatically remove your armour/clothing when you select it for use?


    It is a Skin after all and not a Costume/Disguise

    I'm guessing that OP was hoping to be able to "fight naked" with armor on.
    Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
    Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    How was it falsely advertised? The other ones are clothing/armour costumes, they don't change your skin at all. Of course they show what the outfit looks like in the preview. The Mind shriven skin was showing you what your whole body would look like. It's costume (which has no bearing on your amour), not a polymorph after all.
    It's like asking for a refund because the battlemage costume didn't provide you with heavy armour as it looks in the picture.
    I do agree it wouldn't hurt to put an extra tooltip in there explaining it doesn't allow you to play naked for the naive who believe it does.
