Dunmer Flame Resist vs. Vampire?

How does the Dunmer flame resist synergize with being a Vampire? Is the Flame resist enough to basically offset the increased damage you take? Not quite sure how the whole "resist" actually calculates out when damage is dealt. Hope someone could bring in some numbers?

The amount of all racial resistance passives except Breton spell resist stayed basically the same when all other values were mutliplied by a factor of 10 with 1.6. So, it's not worth mentioning now and certainly doesn't help with the vamp fire weakness.

When I tested the mechanics from 1.6 it was about 1% per level of base resistance. This went up with spell resistance ofc.

Damn it. Really wish i had chosen High Elf for my Sorc build. ZOS please finish up on that paid Race re-roll on existing characters.

If this is true, it sounds like someone forgot to update part of the program...

So dark elves now have two fire passives that aren't worth the skill points...for a bunch of arrogant SOBs, we really don't have much to be arrogant about...

Really glad I don't have more of my libido involved in this game, or I'd be really pissed about this.
