Block Casting has been part of the game since launch and ZoS has stated that this isn't an exploit/bug... shield stacking is also not an exploit or bug, but a smart use of existing mechanics. All classes could shield stack, but sorcs made infamous. Most people frown on shield stacking because they either lack the burst or see it as an unfair advantage.

Its not just that, its unavoidable sometimes.
@ZOS_GinaBruno You guys doing anything about this? The sewers are getting pretty stupid.

I'm sorry I didn't see them stacked

Tough never fallen for it's bug. My ep nightblade is a vampire and some ad nub planted it in a tight area (didn't know it then until I stepped on it. Didn't take Any noticable damage as I just dodgerolled out of it.
The nub died shortly after.
After reading this thread I find it amusing that he failed abusing a broken skill

It's not broken inherently. Simply placing it does not trigger it's multi proc effect (I would know, I use it for the crit hit damage buff of Minor Force, and I have only had it proc once in SO on mantikora when I got sucked underground and my trap was upstairs under him), there's something that must be done preemptively for it to bug out. I've used it in PvP numerous times and have had it work completely fine, where it hits the target, then rearms and hits them again after the 6 second wait timer. This is an exploit players are actively using via some trigger, it requires some action or something to get it to trigger (I have no idea how it works).

No trigger needed. Just enough people bunched up stepping over it at the same time :P

Simply not good enough. As has been the story since day one. This should be a hotfix implemented within hours of being reported on PTS a month ago.
Personally I think making trap beast do crazy damage is AWESOME. It should legit do 25k to players.
Think of the dimension this adds to imperial sewers PvP combat.

If by dimension you mean the hell dimension of the cenobytes, in which pain, suffering, pleasure, and ecstasy are indistinguishable as the skin is flayed from your body, you're absolutely right.

What it looks like to me is a small group anti zerg ability that can't be abused by zergs itself.

That's actually not it at all, after some digging and testing (for bug report purposes, which have been sent in sparing no expense to detail) it's something much less difficult. I'm actually surprised more people didn't find out how to do it sooner. Since it's an exploit I can't explain it to the public since that'd be bad, but I urge anyone on this thread who actually can replicate it, to send in bug reports until ZoS realizes the urgency and hot fixes it or forces a patch.
Its not just bugged for pvp. All weekend my guilds have been "requiring" team members who run rearming trap for dungeon farming and trials. Bosses are dying in seconds.
