What can be blocked

With the recent decision to revert Talons to being unblockable, I'd like to make a point about what SHOULD be blockable to @ZOS_GinaBruno and the rest of the team.

Arrows flying at you: Blockable

Some of the arrows hit your feet (below your shield) and it takes you a moment to clean up your shoes or unpin your robe: (SNARE) Not Blockable

Big dude with a giant sword swinging at you: Blockable

Magic projectile flying at you: Blockable

Magic projectile with a snare or silence attached: Only damage blockable, the other effect is not

Anything that swings or is thrown at you that does damage and knock back: Blockable

Ground fire seeping upwards: Not Blockable (you're stepping in fire, it hurts, explain how positioning your weapon and bracing for impact could stop this?)

Magic shoelaces coming out of the ground and grabbing your feet wrapping around your ankles (talons), damaging your calf muscles: Not Blockable

Giant projectile that weighs a LOT more than you do flying through the air for 100 meters and slams into you (stone treb): There is no way in hell that you should be able to block this unless you continuously roll natural 20s on constitution, dexterity, strength, luck, and "oh my god please save me" rolls

EDIT: Spilled drink on my keyboard and have a stuck key. New keyboard ordered (after which I'll disassemble this one and clean it out). I'll be fixing things I type until then.

You forgot one:

Forum nerf threads: completely unblockable. And 105% crit chance. Game gets critted even if it is not intended to crit.

I would love for snares and CC to not be blockable would make killing perma blockers and gankers alot easier but then most of the player base will come onto the forums and and cry saying "CC spam block nerf wah wah" and all that jolly good stuff.

Whiners are gonna whine regardless.

Not to say that some things should be balanced, but the general issue is `oh I died to this (insert crying whine here) , it must be nerfed, waahhhh waaahhh woe is me, wahhhhh).

So similar to the utter crybabies on FPS games that accuse you of hacking, because they just cannot handle the fact they are terrible players or have technical issues preventing good gameplay or w/e.

Some things in the game needs balanced, but christs, stop with the whines about nigh on everything in the game.
