Can't wait to be done with Imperial City

As a PvPer I can't stand doing PvP in the Imperial City. This city just breeds the worst kind of PvP in the game. And the worst part is you lose 80% of your hard earned stones to gankers or zergs. Sorry ZOS, you meant well but this place sucks for PvP. I'll be going to Cyrodiil as soon as I get my VR16 gear.

As a PvPer, I love Imperial City. It's a great challenge and works best with small assault teams for maximum stone pickup. It's mobile and unique. Lots of action. My only gripe is the loading screens (which ZOS confirmed they are fixing in the next patch).

Big zerg vs a few? Kite the area wandering boss into the zerg and watch them melt.

I love the respawn system and the opportunity to go sewer diving for FAT purses.

As a PvPer I hate the IC because I have to farm f*cking trophies for VR16 jewelry (aka forced into doing PvE) instead of doing actual PvP in there or in Cyrodiil...

I loved Cyrodiil with all the siege and keeps and everything. I hate the loading times, I hate collecting stones the hard way, and losing em to 20+ Zerg groups.

I hope that PvP will come back to Cyrodiil sooner or later.

While i do like it kind of i almost always feel bad when porting home after collecting 3k+ stones from enemy players. It´s just cheap collecting other players hard earned stones in a matter of second with the option to just port to safety afterwards. They should remove the porting stones imho.

There is easy solution. Go to enemy base and collect from your enemy. Faster and easier. No need to farm mobs for hours. Also you cant lose your own because you will go to enemy base without stones.

No need to bother going to an enemy base. I had an enemy group deliver 10K stones practically to my doorstep the other night. IC is great. Experiences may vary depending on skill.

Lol there's nothing skillful about running with a zerg because you're afraid of dying in combat. Neither is there anything skillful about hiding with a small group and then ganking a single guy; taking from him his hard earned stones. Both of these play styles are equally cowardly, and the imperial city is littered with both of them.

Ive had Some great lol moments so far. My best was stalking a zerg farming telvar then 4 of them break off and head to a corner and start letting mobs kill them. So I'm thinking they must be loaded with telvar and tanning the npc blood port, so soon as they got low i aoe bombed them and scooped up an easy 3k or so stones. I had a good laugh for awhile at that one. I've caught a guy here or there blood pouring but not a small group lol.

As a solo player Im loving ic on my nightblade.
  • Seabhacgra
I like IC alot but I hate the PvP in it. Because unless you are a Nightblade, you had better be running with friends or a group because NB's OWN IC. I swear when ZOS was making this place they decided, let's make a playground for underage kids to make nightblades and grief everyone as much as possible and become OP gods of PvP... I like IC but I despise what it's done to traditional PvP

Correct, we need small-scale pvp, but instanced. The imperial city is a disaster. The worst kind of zergfest, riddled with NPC.
