question about tv stones

this may sound noobish but where do you redeem the goods for them? just got Ic yesterday so didn't explore a whole lot in the initial city base is it there or in cyrodiil base that they are redeemed?

also with the phoenix set that can be purchased with tv stones what level is the set at so I can get a rough idea on when to get it via vet 14 or 16.

You spend them at TV stone merchants. These are found in a room in your initial alliance base (your safe zone you go to when entering from Cyrodiil) So explore all the hallways and rooms down there!

No problem

I only know the AD base so no idea if all the alliance base layouts are the same.. but when you walk in from Cyrodiil take a left down the hallway, go through the next room you hit, and then finally the last room you find will have the merchants

ohh its iin the merchant room I only found the reg merchant guy so far.. then again I didn't search for it because I found a place to repair since we were all about exploring the actual caves for tvs haha. but in AD so that helps a lot =p the areas I made sure to locate was bank, any merchant to repair, and the entry to sewers/districts haha

There's a merchant to your right as soon you walk into the safe zone. When you go down the left hallway I mentioned above I think there are some regular merchants, plus that's where the crafting stations are. Then continue down the hallway to get to TV merchants. Pay close attention one, there is like a "Great" merchant etc. The gear will be blue vs purple as well, I believe the blue gear is VR15, and purple in VR16. So I imagine it's the same deal with the lockboxs, so just be extra careful when purchasing gear

ahh thank you for the levels on them because I have eyes on a set I want just didn't know what level to expect it at. would you recommend going for the 15 sets or waiting till 16 personally?

@MissBizz do you know if the blues can be upgraded via crafting mats or no?

Sure can upgrade via crafting! I just wanted you to know that they are actually different levels. At first many think "oh the blue is way cheaper, I'll just upgrade it" then they realize the blues are only VR15 and the expensive purple are VR16

Also, did you know the Silver Key pledge chest now has a small chance to drop the monster shoulder piece?

It's rare than in the gold chest, but can happen (I got one). The ones from the silver chest will only be blue in quality, but can also be upgraded via crafting.

well I was asking because as u said I visited the areas on lunch and saw the blue gears were vet 12(my level) so if you see vet 15 maybe it levels to you up to vet 15 or something

Interesting. Yes. I can try to check right away as I am now VR16 but I thought the blue only hit VR15.

I personally am waiting to obtain VR16, although may craft VR15 stuff

ok so confirmed @MissBizz last night had even some of the guilds vet 5 and 7s say that the blue gear was scaled to their level. so blue scales to level in vets so far I know as u said up to vet 15 after that you need to see the epic tv armorer

Now that you mention that I did notice it scaled on PTS lol, never really thought about that since I hit VR16 so quick after the patch.

no doubt the leveling is quick I mean in 2 nights of pvp I lvled a vet rank which for pvp is pretty good it actually is a good area to lvl up for pvpers
