Knowing when to CLeanse/Purge on console?

I was just curious if there is any sort of visual cue or information on console that gives you any idea when to use a clenase effect?
... or is there even some common SOP for cleansing?
From watching a bunch of PC pvp videos it seems so important to some, if not all builds to be cleansing negative effects regularly, but on console I feel like I have no idea when I'm even affected.

✭On Pc you have the same informations as on console in regards of negative effects as the API does not deliver any information about them.
And yes there are alot of visual cues, staying in flames, green mist, etc etc. the problem is even on alot more powerfull PCs than your consoles those cues are not displayed because of performance issues even more so on your puny console...spelling and grammar errors are free to be abused
