Skyrim is a legend. I had 400+ hours of playtime over the years.
Buddy of mine bought ESO on Ps4 expecting it to be Skyrim online. He never made it past level 30. Only 10.8% of players on Ps4 have the "Level 50" trophy.
A lot of console players were wanting a multiplayer Skyrim. They got ESO instead and it shows. 1 out of 10 make it past 50.
----> Not saying ESO is a bad game. I personally wanted a multiplayer Skyrim type co-op rpg set in Elder Scolls but we got ESO. The story is set 1000 years in the past. I'd rather see the continuation of what happened after the events in Skyrim. ESO is to Elder Scrolls what Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is to Star Wars. I'd rather see what happened to Luke and events after the movies then 3000 years before.

It's the way gaming has gone nowdays, kids want everything NOW! say what you want but its true.
Take an mmorpg I used to play called anarchy online. Max level was 200, it took me 4 months of grinding to get that (zero questing after 100)
1-100 is a month, level like 189-190 take about 2-3days of grinding each. They then added another 20, it took the first person to do level 219-220 a MONTH of grinding.
This game is still popular, 14 odd years on, with millions of active users.

Morrowind>skyrim
Morrowind for me, definitely. Played it for years, was so amazed when it first came out.
Now I'm patiently waiting for Skywind to come out because i want to play Morrowind, but I'm guilty of being graphics-spoilt.
I keep following the Skywind development every step of the way and even donated some cash to keep it going and so far I'm very impressed. Those guys should be hired by bethesda/zos as world designers as they are far more professional than actual employees seem to be.
Can't wait to play Morrowind with modern graphics, nostalgia rose tint with eye-candy addon, huzzah!

Yes, Skyrim was the best Fantasy Single player RPG that I've played in the past 10 years.....
With that said, who ever the idiotic manager was a Bethesda that said "Oh, we made so much money on that game, lets NOT make another" should be fired. They still have no plans to make another one like that which is completely mind boggling.

Why would people even care what others do and use in a SP game? Why would people even care about a fast travel system that is entirely optional? Is it because some of you lack self control, that because you can FT, you do FT and then blame others for your lack of self control? It's how it comes across. After all, you will never technically see what others do in a SP. How I play any given SP game will never impact on anyone else's game and vice versa.
Gaming has evolved and will always evolve. So I see no issue with certain mechanics being implemented. Some i use, some I don't. Some TES fans say TES began going downhill with Morrowind, whilst others state it's the pinnacle of the series thus far. Who's right? Vanilla Morrowind had it's issues, just as every TES game thereafter has their respective issues.
