Untrue. Character death causes the biggest gear degradation.

You lose %10 on death i believe

Gear damage happens when you die and when you earn xp.

Gear damage also occurs when you simply wander around.

When you discover a new area you earn xp, so your gear gets damaged.

Not talking about exploration just simply being out there in the field or in a cave does it whether you earn xp or not. I've seen my armor reach 0% durability while I was not gaining xp before from anything, unless simply wandering around doing nothing not even discovering grants xp lol

Then you should submit a ticket, because that's a bug. Unless this was a long time ago... About a year ago there was a bug that caused some people's gear to decay like that. A large chunk of the players were affected, but not everyone.

Hire someone to come to your house to perform a service. They don't show up because the freeway was jammed with traffic. Do you still pay them? After all, it wasn't their fault.

out fo the 6 online games I play, only 2 are up right now. It's not just ESO.
