I'm interested too - thanks for starting this thread. I'm a fairly recent magicka DK myself having played sorc since closed beta up until a couple of months ago and have been really enjoying the magicka DK, as it seems much more balanced than the current over the top sorc shieldstacking/streak/high dps meta. Interested to get the thoughts of those DKs who have taken the time to test out the future of our class what is the future for our class in pvp which is what I do exclusively. Initially I was concerned by the block/stamina nerf, would kill magicka DKs in pvp given our relatively low out put however I'm hopeful that the removal of nirn and the consequent increase of our damage of 90% of the pvp player base and damage reduction across the board to make block-casting hopefully unnecessary will take the sting out of that however.

I'd love to theorycraft a build that has the ability to get up close and personal (i.e. tankiness) but still do good dps as I'm hopeful magicka DK will remain viable after 1.7 drops.

Any thoughts about the new sets, what's happened to the old sets, our core skills and the like from would be greatly
What sets do testers recommend? What is the new PTS block build I've seen referred to several times.

Also - can anyone tell me what changes have been made to the Elf-Bane set (if any) in this patch as its my current favourite, having collected it now.
