Will we ever get this fixed?

This bug has been around since the very start of the game, and has plagued players all the time with false information. Anyone who uses a damage shield of some sort knows the frustration of having to re-log every 30 or so minutes because their health bar and damage shield have de synchronized. Is there any word on this being fixed?

This bug is almost as frustrating as the lag sometimes, and on top of the fact that logging out and back in means you have to wait in the Cyrodiil queue to get back into PvP, I am sure this bug causes lots of frustration.

How hard could it be to fix?

P.S. Before you say it is just my add-ons incorrectly displaying information, if I disable GGframes and get the default health bar, the same portion will be the default blue that the game uses to show you have a damage shield. This is an internal game UI error, and something really should be done about it.

I took a tech support troubleshooting by mail correspondence course. I know what I'm doing.

Hmm. Did you restart your computer, pull the plug on your router n modem for 30 seconds? Repair and or reinstall your game multiple times all the while unplugging your router and modem as you restart your computer.

Then count to three, which is 1 after 2 and 1 before 4 of which you will never give voice to, but rather 3, counted in succession from 1 by 1's and hence once you reach the number 3, pull the pin on your holy hand grenade and toss it yonder where you computer lay, for it could not possibly be any other problem then with your very own hardware.

same bug happens with the default UI, so no - it's not the addons.

I noticed a correlation between that shield-bar desync and beeing attacked with a resto-staff...

It is a well known bug in the api. So it affects all UIs.

Yea this has been annoying me for a whiiiile now. Ive bug reported it many times, the recent patch notes even said they fixed it, but it has not been fixed yet.
