Interesting pvp tactics

Galaxyblade13
I'm curious to see some working tactics for pvp that are of use and can be fun to implement. I'm looking for things like a squad of night blades that's trained to use vanish at the same time, werewolf packs, using a single decoy person to lure a group towards your larger group that is stealthed so they can't run, etc. things that require cooperation to execute or prepare that pay off as very effective strategical tools. Let the awesome ideas and theories (along with proven strategies hopefully) mixed with terrible ideas that will give at least a smile and laugh begin!!!

Since taunt does not work in PvP I figured it would be neat to dress up my fat nord into a wedding dress to get the attention and aggro that way. Focus on him or suffer DOT mental damage.

Stealthy argonian witch templar - Healer (lowbie)

Stealth flanking and bombing tactics are prevalent in pvp (usually paired with timed proximity detonation for organised guilds).

We are working on a wolf pack, but the high cost of ultimate makes it hard to coordinate a 6+ group transformation.

I would love to see a group of werewolves chasing someone down... been waiting to see it for over a year now.
I got killed in pvp, nerf everything...

I think it's possible, though I worry about effectiveness. It is difficult to gather that much ultimate on all those people. One issue would be how they can't roll and now users would head straight for them with poison arrows. Perhaps it's work better with some non werewolves healing and some archers to give the werewolves time to get to a target group and rip them to shreds. It'd be fun and it could be a great tool. Another tactic I've heard of lately is using the giant mountain in the northeast of cyrodil to gather a large group of people to attack ebonheart castles. It'd make a great base of operations. Though this tactic is better suited to Aldmeri and daggerfall, I guess ebonheart could use it too

You should watch the big boys and girls play on PC. The best guilds are amazingly coordinated and are always coming up with new creative 'gotcha' schemes.

I'll look into it, but I'd rather theorize in this discussion. Less time to watch, more creative ideas from a wider range of people, etc. sometimes the best ideas are made by people who aren't veteran rank 5 and leader of a 500 person guild.

As a newbie just coming into this I would love to use or see some kind of tactics in pvp. But then again I'm sure a bunch of different strategies have been used on the PC already as has been mentioned. For example, use Mongol-like tactics and have a few players stay out in the open and then retreat as they draw the zerg to them as they "tire out" and use their stamina up only to have your own guild or zerg come out and pounce on enemy players. Or something Hannibal-esque and have a group of tanks draw some enemy players to them only to have the dps guys come out of hiding behind the enemy to ambush them.

Back in beta we used to go into stealth then do /sitchair.

Next thing you know there were reports of a roving death chair squad murdering their way through Cyrodiil.

    Unfortunately that got patched :disappointed:
