Help Creating Character Story?

I'm not asking for it to be written for me, by any means. I know what kind of character I want my character to be. I want to know how to go about figuring birth place, and anything else that may be linked to Elder Scrolls lore. I also would like to know about what are called Birth Signs. I am totally new to the RP part of games, although I play MMORPGs often for the actual competition and story of the game itself.

My current character is a Khajiit NB, named Daro'Aoni. That name was given to her by herself as a child. She was abandoned by her parents, who were skooma dealers, and she found her way to an Outlaw's Refuge where she met her adoptive parents, who were both assassins. I have more details brewing, but was curious if someone with more RP experience could help me.

So far your back story is quite nice, open and leaves room for more to expand upon. There are many avenues that a young Khajiit could take depending on if you are feeling the more detached, silent assassin or perhaps the more personable, clever thief. Both are common and lore safe routes for most Khajiit. Maybe a neat side twist added in for some extra flavor?

As for Khajiit lore specific stuff! I have provided some websites with the basics/lore that involve the Khajiit race. A neat feature of the race is depending on what Birth Sign your character is born under, will depend on what "type" or subspecies of Khajiit you will be. The Morphology of Khajiit is a fun read for figuring out what yours will turn out, for example my Khajiit Zharum is a Dagi-raht, born under dual Waning moons.
