1 sec kill in blackwater?
I thought 1 sec kills were confined to Veteran level? but there is a sorc running around literally killing everyone he meets in 1 sec
(using about 4 skills together simultaneously) counted 20 in the last 10 minutes.. same routine.. attacks from stealth - dead - back in stealth
Wouldn't mind a fight but he hit me in stealth with crystal frag= a few other spells - I was dead before I emerged from stealth.. hehe
Just some loser with boat loads of champ points killing newbs?- maybe he should grow some

Curse + Empowered Frag + Detonation + Mage's Wrath? Even then you had the Curse and Detonation on you for a few seconds before they hit so 1s doesn't make sense here.

myrrrorb14_ESO✭✭✭✭✭Curse is great and I use it alot in pvp. But from stealth use the crystal frags first. Long cast time doesnt matter since stealthed and the extra damage is great. Frag has a long travel time, so hit with another attack. Mages wrath. If frag procs use that and dead. If not, force pulse cancel and still dead. Total time from when target first gets hit about 2 seconds.0

Well, those saying 'it would happen over 3-4 seconds' ....
I died before the 'sneak discovered sound' had finished ... still crouched.
I guess with a razor mouse (or similar) it would be simple to program a macro, especially as a ranged caster. - and was about 5 abilities that hit me all together, not 3.
Yeah, I guess it is possible, but a 1 sec kill is hardly a good advertisement for decent pvp.0 -

Where DB of smiting is bugged meaning the person's an exploiter.
Not even gonna go into the CP part of it besides saying allowing full CPs on nonvet is plain stupid. :-P

This. Plain and simple.
Seeing someone handling 20+ people using staff and light garment on his own being blasted for 2-3min and not losing more than 15% health is ridiculous. Even more when you see said character propping 3 skill on you in 1-2 sec and no casting animations and taking out 50% of your health.0 -
Well, it is the first time it has happened to me so far - I have seen it on youtube videos but assumed they were due to high level gear/champ points- ... was an eye opener, or more of a ' oh, I've been disco..... wtf'!
Made me laugh though, so not all bad :-)

Seriously? 5 skills in less than 1 sec (I was dead before the discovered sound finished-still crouched)...without a macro you'd have to have reactions like Spiderman :-)
Ps, i'm not saying there is anything wrong with this, I guess it is a valid way to pvp/gank - it just was a little frustrating.0 -
Mr_Nobody✭✭✭✭✭Yes, only sorcs and nbs can use macros. Thats a hidden passive. As a sorc, if ure using razor programmable mouse, u can set it so your crystal fragments, curse and magicka detonation all are instacasts and hit at any time you have set them to hit.

Just reinforces what so many of us have been saying CP needs to stay out of non vet PVP and it needs to get fixed before ESO bleeds more players0 -

If it's a vampire you don't even need CPs.
I don't have so many CPs but if I would buff a woodelf nightblade to the limits...hm...10k+ snipe, 6k+ ambush, 11k+ death strike crit 3k+ light attack crit. 30k dmg instant. Obviously only if everything crits and snipe and ambush both get the stealth bonus. If nothing crits it's still 22k+ and you have 1 sec left to land a hidden blade + light attack. Even if your crit luck is 0 (what I doubt with 50% crit chance) someone with the 27k standard health pool means 0 CPs would be dead after 1 sec.0 -
OP referenced BWB campaign. I see people posting numbers and skills that are much more relevant to the vet campaigns. It's rare (though not impossible) for a non vet toon to have dawnbreaker and proximity detonation unlocked. Need to keep in mind the limits of battle leveling and dmg scaling. There are cheaters and macro exploiters for certain, run into them every day. L2P is a lame defense against them.
Looks like champ points are undoing the leveled playing field for non vet.
