spell resistance

I have almost 60k in spell resistance and i am still wearing cloth it seem compared to the dps from sorc, and dk's? what the *** is wrong in this game with HA and the resistance. I feel no dif, from when i only have 24k?

Isn't there like a 'soft' cap at around 19,000 and a 'hard' cap at 32,000 or something?

I don't really know, I just learnt about this the other week or something. Formula is, what; (((Spell resistance - 1000) / Character level)/10)?

Soft cap basically makes it tougher to gain resistance until you hit the hard cap, where it stops.

i.e., after 19000~ you need a lot more resistance than what the numbers actually says because they're removing a certain percentage.

Is this right? I don't really know myself.

It's 650 armor per 1% mitigation, so 32,500 armor for the 50% mitigation cap.

So 32,500 i cap, and the same number for Physical resistance?
How to rais my spell/waepon damage and spell/waepon crite?
Do the maximum magican and recovery?

Soft caps are gone as of 1.6.

Dunno the hard caps off hand.
You can go over hard caps and it will still be good against people that use - resist skills /CP slots (say one that makes you take away 10% of targets resist. The -10% is used against your actual resist not the cap so you can get benefit from being over, especially in PVP.

Nirn is pretty broken atm, wait for patch.

And yeah, I heard hard cap was 33k ish and if you are higher up you're getting extra penetration or something?

Ah well, doesn't matter, will be fixed.

After 1.7 you won't be too 'nirned' so don't fret, use something else until then perhaps.
