Do you always get a skill point if you kill a player?

I was doing pvp, and I got my first solo kill, but when I keep trying I need a group and I don't get a point in pvp. And it's hard to find someone by themselves. ..

you get a skillpoint each alliance rank you gather wich is at the beginning prety much after the first kill in pvp as you´ll need 700 ap and a solo kill is worth 8xx.

So, I need to gain 700ap before gaining another skill point? And it that continues after? Or do I need to gain a rank in pvp?

You get a skill point everytime you reach a new rank, yes.

So the most I can ever get is 50 skill points? Is there any other way to get skill points in PvP?

skyshards, and levering up your normal levels give skill points as well.

you can get them in pvp too, but you will probably have to do the pve side to get more skill points like skyshard hunting, if you dont like pve, and still missing many skillpoints
