Blackwater Blade Templar Build?

I'm curious if anyone has a proven Templar build for low level PvP in Blackwater Blade? Can be Magicka or Stamina. I am just interested in creating a Templar for low level PvP and want to hear what other BB Templars are having success with.

Currently I was looking at something like this: Build

If magicka seems to be the better option, I am open to that as well.

I'd like to hear what sets are good to use as well.

Any advice or suggestions are welcome!

I played an imperial stamina Templar with bow and S/B on BB. The imperial racials really give a great boost with the battle scaling. Tons of health and stamina. I never had time to get a werewolf bite but that would have been even better.

In terms of stats I did 1:3 health to stamina. BB is a great place to wear training gear trait set since most armor traits don't do much with the battle leveling. Only divines or impenetrable seem useful. (Or nirnhorned if you want to waste it on a lowbie). In terms of sets there are similar restrictions because of the battle scaling. Most 5 piece set bonuses are good and will work but any boosts to weapon power or stats will get swallowed by the battle scaled stats.
I like willows path a lot for pre-vet. You have these inflated resource pools from battle scaling but crappy regen which the set helps with significantly.

I'm playing a magicka templar on BB and it has been working out well so far. The main issue is running out of magic and stam so quickly. I got vamp as early as possible and the magic regen mundus. Crafted armor all has divines trait on it and I'm using two magic reduction and one stam reduction jewelry enchant.
At level 20 , I was able to combine warlock and seducer 5 piece sets. At level 30, I put together as many 2/3 pieces sets I could to stack regen along with a 5 piece seducer. I'm currently at 1611 magic regen and will be higher with the second point put into supernatural recovery.
Forget to mention that I'm using drinks well. Blue with magic and stamina.

Doesn't matter for BB.. as it doesn't do anything due to battle scaling.

True but every once in a while a man has to venture out into dungeons.

What works best for BB is using regen pots.. I have a healing based templar in BB, never run into magicka issues if I use magicka regen pots, using the Eyes of Mara set can also help for Resto staff skills.

Basically for BB, get magicka reduction rings/necklace, regen pots and a good 5th bonus set and you're good to go. Make your gear with the training trait, as the rest doesn't do much or anything.. and it will help to get your skill levels up faster.

Thanks for all the tips so far. To clarify, do the 2, 3, and 4 set bonuses for health/magic/stam regen apply at all in BB or no? Just wondering because I think I am going to go for the 5 set 15% regen in combat, but not sure what to do for the other slots I have. I was thinking about putting together a couple 2 piece sets for magicka regen. But if the 2 piece bonus for regen doesn't work then I will go for crit or something.

Only crit values from 2-4 pc set bonuses do anything if you are "battle leveled"

Also don't bother with enchantments on armor and use all divines traits to boost your mundus choice.

I'm a huge fan of my Templar in BB, Mazdarati. Magicka regen based, and I can heal essentially non-stop. Damage is fair and because I've got two damage shields and a metric ton of healing, I can usually kill my opponent or last long enough that we decide we're bored and go our separate ways.

I've found the key to success is magicka regen (mine is 1251 (though I am Champion Level 110) without a potion and that seems enough to cast whatever I want for a good amount of time) and resource conservation. Regenerate additional magicka, if you need it, with restoration staff heavy attacks. Resource conservation is necessary because this build doesn't deal an insane amount of damage, but it does deal enough to kill just about anyone as long as you have resources.

Bar 1 - 1H / Shield: Radiant Ward, Vampires Bane, Shielded Assault, Solar Barrage, Radiant Oppression [Solar Disturbance]

On this bar, the Ultimate is up to you really. The only three key abilities I would say are Radiant Ward, Solar Barrage and Radiant Oppression. The unmorphed versions are perfectly fine.

Bar 2 - Restoration Staff: Healing Ward, Ritual of Rebirth, Breath of Life, Purge, Illustrious Healing [Remembrance]

On the second bar, Purge is a very nice ability to have when you can get it: say goodbye to overwhelming siege damage taken (Purge removes the DoT). Use another heal instead until then. My bread and butter heal in a large group of friends and/or foes is Ritual of Rebirth - you can heal for so, so much. When soloing, the combination of two damage shields and Illustrious Healing (AoE HoT) means I can deal damage and fight someone one on one without really getting hurt, except for against nightblades (and werewolves... url="https://youtu.be/6eB6OGEm15Y"]https://youtu.be/6eB6OGEm15Y[/url).

A general tip as well is to carry potions. Detect potions are so beautiful, tripots are life savers, and potions of spell power+magicka regen+spell critical are critical for those intense situations where you're keeping a dozen people alive, including yourself.
