I agree! I proposed this a while ago and they removed my post... But, basically they are different games and the PC players flood this forum with bitching, complaining, and spoilers..

I'd be more friendly to the people who funded your console port.

Console is worse because they have less experience and still lacking some abilities that cause the bitching. That being said I am console. And I agree with OP because there is still old threads that are a bit misleading because most of it do not apply to console revisions. It would be a simple subsection that would calm the confusion.

It was always going to be a console game, they even spent a year polishing it for us. you were the beta.

Even if they kept the majority of the forums together would be fine, so long as there was a place for console specific and PC specific issues, requests, advice, grouping, etc.

Yes, segregate the forums so that if you have a game-realted (and not platform-related) question, you have to post it in both forums!

Why not simply tag your post like
"[PC] Would you ever play the game without mods? Me neither!"

Lava_Croft I can not take you seriously with all the incessant b****ing you do on these forums. If you don't like the game or can't hang in PvP go play something else. It's getting ridiculous. Just because PC was handed a s**** beta version of a console game doesn't mean you funded anything.

I think PC players can help out the newer console players a great deal - which I can imagine is partly why there is no separation, so not sure why you think there should be separate "advice" forums. There are already separate support sub-forums.

Why bother. It's probably best to give the Skyrim players their own forum section.

Exactly.. Sick and tired all this childish PC master race, separate forums c%#p. We might be on different versions but we are all playing the same game. The amount of knowledge pc players could pass on to console players, the advice they could offer as they have a mass of experience. Yet all you get is whining and complaining.

This community has really gone down hill.

It can get really confusing when both are in the same place. I accidently responded to a console thread thinking it was a PC thread. Perhaps there is an easier way to identify which is which without a split.

We don't necessarily need to segregate the forums. We just need a way to differentiate between PC, XB1 and PS4 threads. A simple way of doing this is by implementing a drop-down menu to select a tag ([PC] [XB1] [PS4]) Much like giving a thread a title, make this step mandatory. Voila! Problem solved.

In addition, we should also be given a filter option. If I'm a PC player and I don't want to see console threads, I should be able to hide all threads with the [XB1] and [PS4] tags. Likewise, if I'm a console player, I should be allowed to hide threads with the [PC] tag.

I think this would really help reduce clutter, while giving the end-user a little more control.

I use the Recent Discussions view exclusively to browse the forums.

When they revamped the forums, they turned the Recent Discussion view into a no-man's land. It is often not possible to identify what someone is talking about from title alone, and that goes double for platform specific issues posted into the correct sub-forum. The forums used to be a lot better, in many ways, than they are today. @ZOS_AlanG says they are looking at restoring the sub-forum information, but it is a low priority. :disappointed:

Yeah that is how I found the thread i accidentally posted in. I didnt realise it said at the top of the thread what it was specific to. It wasnt until someone asked me for my gamertag that it clicked and when I dug deeper I realised it was specifically for XBox 1 players.
