Post Kill Shenanigans

So I stumbled on a guy last night a little ways from a keep, in enemy territory. We grouped up and decided we just wanted to hang around and do a little ganking. We're VR2 & VR1. We went dark and sat for a couple minutes until we saw someone, lvl 45 Sorc. Hit him with that dismount Venom arrow and proceeded to put in work. The kid was good! He hung in for a couple minutes and took me down to about 40% health and the other guy to about...50%. So he was legit. (I'm aware there isn't much difference between the three of us other than skills/capability to make plays). So we finished him off and...well the other guy finished him off and I dropped into cloak. I look back and the dude has pulled out a broom sweeping the guy we just killed. The dead player had to have seen this because he was in that limbo of waiting for a res or re spawning at the keep.

I laughed so hard!!! I see people, and have been, tea-bagged on numerous occasions but this was new to me and so dang funny.

A few minutes later the bad guy shows back up; we had moved down the street a little to some cliffs, and he has like three other guys with him, a NB, another Sorc, and some Healer. Look like they were ready to avenge that death or just pissed for the sweeping! Lol!!

We engaged. They had a lvl 45 (same guy), VR4, VR2, and a VR10. We start battling and I'm managing my skills pretty well...better this time. I still suck but I was doing better, and we clear out the VR2 and the lvl 45 is at about 30% health with a ward up. The VR4 comes after me, he's the f-ing NB. I'm a vamp NB too, but underskilled. This guy kills me and leaves it 1v3.

The dude I'm with works over the lvl 45 and starts on the VR4 and eventually kills him. I see this guy throwing up RAlly like crazy and his health bar is like perma-safe. I mean it barely budged. I know he has other stuff helping with positions and food, but damn. Anyways, he kills the VR4 and moves on to the VR10. After about a good 2-3min he wipes him out, comes to res me then goes back and proceeds to sweep the VR10. I died laughing again.

Ganking was so much fun. I need to do it more often. I think it'll make me better.

I only sweep big ego players and especially only when I am a part of 10+ group killing this player and ESPECIALLY when I didn't even do any damage to them at all. Go big or go home I say.

Nah. It's all been done before, although I am sure many think they are being funny and original. It's very rare when I see something original.

I usually T-bag if I have time.

Im not trying to be funny, I actually find pleasure in rubbing it in peoples faces when they are dead.

If its not tbag, I go for the lute, water bucket, or pushup combo.

I don't unless I have a friendly history with the player. Otherwise it bothers me when others do it. Especially when they are doing it to a guy who stuck in a fight outnumbered. I mean, why tea bag a guy who killed or almost killed people in a 1vX? I have too much respect to solo'ers who are trying.

Usually tea bagging is done to compensate. If you have skill, your actions and kills speak for themselves.

Edit: Besides none of you will beat my tea bagging from the first month's of the game. I once paid 5 lower level players to follow me in stealth for 2 hours. When I would gank/kill a DC, they would all pop out and 2 on lute 3 dancing have a spontaneous party around the corpse.

I prefer to stealth camp bodies than celebrate kills, unless it's somebody I know. I get "celebrated" on a lot. There's an EP sorc that seems to spend more time teabagging than fighting, and he does it even when it's not his kill. Seems to be trying a little too hard to make a point.

I once died at farra and decided to break for lunch. A dude humped exercised on my Templar the whole time I was eating. After I timed out I /w asked if it was good for him, and we made inappropriate jokes for like 15 min. He was one of the first "enemy" on my friends list.

I got a random tell the other night saying that he would teabag me with his horse if he could. I would laugh so hard to see that.

I usually /bow, if I have the time and recognize the player. If it's an annoying player ( the kind that sticks around in sneak and pours oil when I'm repairing inner) I do /dismiss.

Teabagging is about the most stupid thing, might bother some one if they are 14 years old, and means nothing to most people I know, I don't even think there is a teabag command so only in someone's twisted mind are they teabagging.

The most I have done after a good fight is cheer, if it is a known epeen stroker maybe sweep or shovel /shrug

Oh man, I like the spontaneous party idea!! Haha, yeah, I get this stuff being kind of a *** move but it's funny and I think it builds rivalry. Like, the faction I'm in gets into some epic battles, just back and forth everyday, with another faction and I see some of the same players grouped up. It's fun because you see each other getting better and you know that when you die those other goofs are gonna run it in your faces.

I generally /bow.
Not because I'm trying to be a smartass but usually if it's a player I recognize lying on the ground, It's my way of saying hello basically and 'friendly regards to the dirt'. I don't take it at all seriously.

I have yet to be tea bagged and that honestly bothers me. Haha. Some people spend a good ten minutes tea bagging a body though, kinda makes me wonder.

It doesn't bother me in particular - been playing MMOs way too long for that, but it's a little immature and disrespectful.

But on a scale of 1-10 for bad behaviour in MMOs, it's a 4 at worst.

I personally prefer to show some respect for an opponent who takes time to kill and shows skill. I bow sometimes over the body.

Being a jerk triumphalist can backfire on the game in general - new players to MMOs taking their first steps into the game may be put off by it.

But then I am sure they are put off by all kinds of childish epeening, which MMOs are crammed full of.

A week ago a group of friendlies and me killed a v14 and so we had a funeral for him 3 guys were shoveling, one had the lute and I think one guy started to cry but what I just love to do is play dead next to a body waiting for a rez pop up and scare the *** out of people
