Is pvp still an AoE zerg?

Hello all,

I played ESO at launch for 3-4 months. Loved the game, but once I got to V1 it felt like a large grind and Pvp was about who had a bigger group of destro staff, light armored zerg squad. Anyway, has that changed at all? I've tried to find some more recent reviews of the game, but they didn't touch on pvp.

It is now a medium armor steel tornado AOE zerg fest .Enjoy.

Of course you know since this is no longer a sub based game you can go and see for yourself at any time.

I am pretty much the same as you OP, only difference is that I have a VR12 with good gears (back then) and came back bout a week ago.

This is what I have learn from the past week: stam builds got a boost; armor traits nerfed/buffed, got few more choices beside Impen now; stat softcap removed, races with stat boost passives are more in favor, whereas lizards got screwed;

Also many enhancements to PvEs like single-player dungeons and quests etc. I find myself ditching my main and jumping onto my VR2 toon just for the PvE world.

Essentially yea. Just the game was "balanced" for 1.6 and now its a mix of medium armor duel wield and heavy armor perma blocking templar zergs.

Bummer, man

I enjoyed the PvE, but it was too grindy and I couldn't see myself doing all the quests for 2 more factions. I am also a pvp'r (strangely enough, I'm playing on the new EQ progression server o.0 ) and was bummed there was no dependable small scale battles. At first, I loved the idea of one big, constantly changing zone, until it became the massive zerg.

Oh well, enjoy guys. I'll check back in 6 months

there is a few group plays though, at least on console because it's harder to control big zergs.
